Title: extreme lag

I have extreme lag that should not be therer with my computer specs are high enough to support the game..

 ??? ???

1.59 GHz
512 RAM

Try reseting your router switching it off then on usually helps me to get a bit better pings.

That processor is... quite outdated... and as far as I know the system requirements are a damn lie - my brother had an intergrated video card, 700mb ram, 2,8ghz single core processor and the game ran on maximum 40 fps, in cities it was like 10-20 fps. I have no idea why is that, but I have said and will say again that the engine seems to be very unoptimized. Also, you are refering to low frames per second (fps), lag has stuff to do with your internet connection.

What do you mean by lag? Low FPS or high Ping (F1 in-game to check)? High ping does not depend on your computer specs but on your internet connection. If you're using satellite connection that could be a cause of the problems.

kids, they blame The Lag for things it does not do.

srly Lag is for poor internet conection, i got the game on a craaaaapy PC, but good conection(cable) and it has i think 0,5-1 FPS(0,2 if i scrool the image)

must be his connection. am on a laptop but very good connection all bar's and rarely get lag only in battles with many players.

if its about ping, then yes, listen to those guys, but if its FPS lag, then yo have bad news... FOnline is upgraded engine, so even if you can run good Fallout 2. doesnt mean you can run the same FOnline, fonline has own lightning, and better resolution. (cannot remember anything else)
