Title: is this game worth it

hey i havnt bought the game but im thinking about it is it worth it

Fonline is free but needs Fallout 2 dat files to play so if you meant Fallout 2 then I say it worths way more then they ask for it. Check http://www.gog.com/ you can buy Fallout from there for sure if you can't find it in local stores also I suggest to buy Fallout 1 and Tactics too they are quality games too.
Also it would be good if you play Fallout 1 then 2. About Tactics as the name says its a tactical game which isn't as challenging as Jagged Alliance (except if you chose the no saves between missions but I don't suggest to use that).

Yeah, after getting to level 21 its worth it, funnest game i've played in awhile :P

This game is worth of it.
You got killed by PKs, You faction got raped by base rapers and thieves take you stuff at NCR.

Sadly the only way you are gonna get anywhere in the game without a huge gang, is if you hope 'NOT' to see people in the wastes.  GL, oh and in some amount of time as of yet unknown anything you make will be lost completely including characters, because they will wipe the server.  They been working on it awhile so it's past due.  After that you should get a fair amount of play.

but anyway, Magnum, feel free to contact me, my nick is VORON, Old Punk, PsiX, Lil Jesus (In-Game). because i would like to help you, and tell you how harsh the wasteland is, and yes, this is hardcore game, but still, dont regret buying and/or downloading it  :)

My best advice is to try and go through this, even the best players were once noobies. Even they were constantly bursted by PKers (a common abreviation meaning player killer), they too were constantly robbed, but then again, they got through it, and they became "respectful", "powerful", and somesuch shit about false power.
And probably my best advice is to try and stay out of gang rivalries, they'll just suck you into and inevitable vortex of either great shame or even greater fame. It's too much of a risk for something that will mold your popularity.
