I was thinking this would make things more interesting and make faction members stand out more to add more a paunch when they walk into town or battles. Just putting this idea out there so think it's any good?
-
What factions? All of them? NPC factions? Besides becoming a leader of player-driven faction is a matter of few clicks in base terminal, so you could craft "special armors" all day long for all faction members, with every member becoming the leader for a while.
I strongly recommend you to play this longer than a month, then posting suggestions.
-
good point but It would be for player driven factions and there will be a limit to how much you can craft and it might only be for leaders or all members for the most part unless people vote for full faction armor in which case you would only be able to craft one suite per member. In the future :) please read before posting

sounds like magic that you stumble upon power armor or special armor as you would like to call it for your faction and that it will only work on up to 5 members. i dont think you could get it to work this way and besides it just sounds like a reason for alts and buying out more faction names to farm said special armors.
There's a reason to create alts for this suggestion so im against it.
-
Hmm that is quite a strong point you have, I might have some of the same doubts so i think i will have to change the idea, Thanks for the feedback
-
Factions such as Enclave and BoS will have available power armor but only for faction vs faction battles. Likely instanced.
You cannot keep them afaik.
-
AFAIK, it was said, that the power armors will be available to the highest-ranked characters in the factions someday, after completing the bunch of quests and really proving its loyalty. Also, there will be a couple of new armors after update (along with some changes in existing ones), such as the Enclave combat armor, that will have a slightly better stats (with some downsides) than combat armor, and the Brotherhood armor will have opposite downsides, but its own upsides. I advise you to use the search function next time and look closer for what's developers are saying.

Yeah lol ,theres about 20 suggestions about Pa´s :)
-
noted, Sorry for giving the wrong idea
-
Seems token from World of Wacraft... something like THIS (http://www.wowwiki.com/Tabard).
I think that Blizzard will be VERY disappointed when they will know that you stole their idea...
-
Gameplayelements can't be copyrighted, especially if they are lighthearted ideas like this which don't need a rocket scientist to come up with.

Just a joke Surf, dont worry. Jokes are
lighthearted ideas which don't need a rocket scientist to come up with.

this can work in the 3D era, we can put our own faction emblem(witch we must select from a list of pre-made ones, like factions) and play with it on our back
-
Yep, good idea, and it isn't hard to implement. It would require just one additional layer for the armor and some place, where the logotypes (or emblems, as you've said) would published before uploading.
-
Hmm it could be chest area or head, full body might be a bit much though or maybe not. Later I might come up with an example photo or something of the like. Possible for some armor like metal MKII if it comes around to be a sound idea. Also for the poll it would seem people like just the emblem, no stats boost which I think is cool.

Guess what? Look at THIS (http://www.wowwiki.com/Tabard) (again).

Can you briefly describe the important moments? I'm sick of reading the WoW wiki in particular and everything related to WoW in general.
-
You go to Guild Master, ask him/her to modify/create a tabard (or crest, i dont remember), and then a small menù whit the guild symbol editing option appears. You can choose between various preset symbols, and change borders, color, symbol color, and border color. Preset symbols range between beer bottles to roaring lions. That's in short, described by an ex-WoW player. (quitted
taking drugs playing a month or so, so i dont think infos are too outdated)
-
This sounds easy as you say it, but probably would be hard to implement 1:1, because it would require engine changes and stuff. I imagine it this way:
1. Draw a logo in photoshop by yourself;
2. Upload it to the special topic;
3. Logo gets uploaded to the server after next update;
4. Go to the special guy that will sell you a scheme with recipe;
5. Then you can craft an armor with logo by yourself.
-
- draw an armor with all graphics needed for all items.
- post it.
- devs will add it.
- than you can buy it from some trader.
Funny thing, but u can do it =)
-
Would Photo shop be okay?
-
2. Upload it to the special topic;
What special topic?
Would Photo shop be okay?
Well, i think. But we need image dimensions.
-
What special topic?
Some topic, where people would upload their image before it is uploaded to the game.
Also, guys, no need to draw it right now, because there will be no 3D next era, so there will be no logotypes and stuff.

And what about, for now, changin' the 13 on the back of the bluesuit? It automatically changes when you enter a faction, or somethin' like this, in that way shouldnt be too difficult todo.

that's a nice idea that could possibly happen next season?
-
I love the idea!. But the armors, without better stats :D.
-
Special power armor for factions? NO.
But here's a suggestion within a suggestion...
When 3D comes out, allow factions to have their own custom colors and emblems for a fee of some irl cash. Factions can have their own unique uniforms and the developers make $$$.
Win-win?
-
the problem will be that idk if is legal
cuz the devs will make money from bethsada inc property

I dunno, after all half the bluesuit frames should be redone. To fit with faction emblem.
