what about being able to extract the poison from the scorpion tail's gland with an empty syringe?
scorpion tail (or X number of) + empty syringe = syringe full of poison.
this could then be used to poison the tip of a spear or edge of a knife to give it a bit more bite or in this case after bite...
all it would add is the chance of poisoning a target (repeatedly) the same way a scorpion attack does. But maybe it should ware off after a certain number of hits, then just kill a scorpion and repeat!
to go one step further an even stronger poison could be extracted from a floaters gangaloin...
I suggest this to give low level melee weapon fighters a bit more of an edge

Of course.... the most consecutive hits, the more poison, the more damage that continues to build up with each hit plus the regular poison damage...
Could actually make some tribal-like gangs with this... mass attack with fast shot and poison spears....

Thought almost same way.
There is only reason why not to implement:
Developers don`t want to add new types of weapons.
Poisoned Spear
Poisoned Sharped Spear
Poisoned Knife
Poisoned Throwing Knife
And Strongly Poisoned ones
ALSO:
Add Radiate effect to Megapower Fist.

thats a fair call but i think it may be kind of a grey zone; these wouldn't be new weapons as much as upgrades for existing ones.... after all the only upgradable melee weapon I can think of is the cattle prod. All gun class weapons have multiple upgrades as well as ammo selections. so this is more about spicing up the possibilities with existing weapons of a weapon class that is a little under-rated in my opinion :)
also, problem with power fist giving off radiation is that the wearer would get radiation poisoning and would ultimately die. Maybe that's more of a critical failure effect :P

The critters will give different amounts (generated from their stats), but apart from that, no.

Everyone are forgetting the needler pistol, it give poison in fallout 2. Can put a type of munition to it give poison too.

Yes and poison must have type like weak medium of the weak and strong and strong :)
