Lool. I love all these frekin TF2 Vids. And it's about time they got the medic in there.
And I gotta say.... FOR FREE??? "FOREVER"? Seems a little overstated. I highly doubt it'll be free in the next 100 or even 200 years. ;D
Hell it'll prolly become a forgotten relic by then.

I love that "free to play" in PC because i tryed to buy this game for PC and i never found one seller close to my region.
I see the FAQ of the game right now, it doesnt says anything about have a console copie of the game, im the owner of The Orange Box for Xbox 360 wich contains TF2, i wander if that could give me a premuim account......ANYWAY FREE TO PLAY.......WEEEEEEEEEEEE

It won't be free. Nothing is ever free. You'll be restricted somehow through either their bizarre weapon system or through gaining hats.

They get more than enough money through their inane Hat-Trading system, so it's no wonder they release it for free to fix more people on.

Bleh, I own this game for years and all I can say is it will never be as good as it was when there were no or only some items. Since the spy/sniper update the game's been going right downhill with all the ridiculous hats and shit. Mann.Co store was the last drop in my bucket.
And if I would care about the game, which I don't because of the reasons stated previously, I'd frown upon this f2p update, as f2p games tend to bring larger sums of money than traditional trade as it offers the possibility to release tons of buyable content/DLCs. Expect to have unlockable items in TF2 soon, expect the shop to expand.

I own this game since it was released and the only update that changed gameplay badly was the mentioned f2p update. Hats and items don't interrupt or change anything. You are gonna hate them for pure hate. Hurr the only right TF2 is vanilla TF2 durr. F2P update brought lots of noobs but that's just gonna last like a month then everything will go back to normal.

Purely cosmetic advantage you can buy for IRL moneys, like a skin. With that, TF2 financed itself to F2P.

That means all source mods (some of them are actually rather good) are for free too and no longer need a game with the source engine. What's next? We get CS:S for free too? Nobody buys it these days anyways :P What's the matter with Valve now?
