I have never used bonus ranged damage but am considering it so what does +2 to Ranged Damage really mean here?

It's like a +2 at the min and the max of your weapon damage.

Its does count for each bullet... Like stated in my previous pôst, +2 at min and max weapon damage, same for a DKS and an avenger, though it's obviously more usefull for avenger.

But in summation its most beneficial to bursters using weapons with large quantity bursts (lots'o'bullets per burst) right?

differense in close with 2 brd vs 0 brd is 24 dmg on bluesut without toughness ;D

Well, LSW without BRDs vs BA with x2 Toughness:
Base average damage: (22+37)/2 = 29.5;
DR/DT = 40%/8+10%/4=50%/12; because of .223 ammo 30%/12; because of piercing ammo stuff 10%/4
Damage per bullet: 29.5*0.9-4 = 22.25.
LSW with x2 BRD:
29.5+4 = 31.5.
31.5*0.9-4 = 24.35.
x2 BRD increases damage on 9.44% for LSW against BA with x2 Toughness.
Now simple vs BA without any Toughnesses and without BRD:
DR/DT = 40%/8, because of .223 ammo 20%/8, because of piercing 13.33%/2.66, I won't round up or down.
Damage per bullet: 29.5*0.866-2.66 = 22.887.
With x2 BRD against simple BA:
31.5*0.866-2.66 = 24.619.
x2 BRD increases damage on 7.57% for LSW against BA without Toughnesses.

Now the same thing for avenger mini.
Without BRD and with x2 Toughness: 8-11 -> 9.5 avg damage. *2/3 ammo adj = 6.33;
50/12 - 35/0 = 15/12 /3 = 5/4.
6.33*0.95-4 = 2.0135.
With x2 BRD: 13.5*2/3=9.
9*0.95-4=4.55.
+125.97% damage, it's on 125.97-9.44=116.53% more than for LSW or x13.34 times more.
Without Toughness:
40/8 -35 = 5/8 /3 = 1.66/2.66
Without BRD:
6.33*0.9834-2.66 = 3.565.
With x2 BRD:
9*0.9834-2.66 = 6.19.
73.6%, what on 73.6-7.57=66.03% more, or x9.72 times more.
Average: (13.34+9.72)/2 = 11.53.
This way, x2 BRD is in 11.53 times better for avenger than for LSW!

Yes and brd is better only for 1 hex bursting for avenger ;P rest lsw>avenger (maybe not counting critical damage avenger can score higher in that way)
In other words.
Without 2BRD dont even touch minigun type weapon, because your damage will do shit.
P.S. i though AP ammo decrease TD no DR ;p

BRD is "must have" for SG bursters, minigunners. That's all i think. LSW big-gunners, snipers, Rocket launcher, energy weapons (but dunno about gatling laser) doesn't need it at all

Avenger always does more damage than a lsw when fired by the same char.
With the wipe every big gun gets new values anyway.
