Title: Forum Update to SMF 2.0

We've finally upgraded the forum to SMF 2.0, which is much nicer than the old version, in terms of features, especially the anti-spam possibilities.

Please bear with us while we sort out the last bugs in theme, Wipe made a great job converting it from 1.x to 2.x, but there's still some issues to sort out.

Let's just get used to the new one ;) Also remember that the new version is for better protection against spam. Security is better than aesthetics.

How to switch back to the old layout? Surely there must be a way?

The old SMF 1.13 one isn't supported by SMF2.0, the current one is the new template.

Well, right now I think this version is ugly, but maybe cause I am too used to old one. I prefered the old quote style.

Signatures doesn't really need these two lines under the post. One line is good and enough. Or you can delete both, and make as it was before.

I like "new" forum, but we see, that it needs many fixes, just wait for it guys...
Profile page needs to repair, and posting something, it's too bright

We're looking for a spoiler plugin right now. Highly doubtful for a "delete post" button.

Only real problem I see is that the only "reply" button is at the bottom of the page, but I guess it doesn't really matter. Oh, and the headlines are smaller.

I could imagine board working with no signatures at all. Just imagine the amount of visible text and no disctractions!

Though likning in there has proven to be quite useful.

I agree, links to wiki and blogs were usefull. The server status also diseapeared. It would be good to have all that, though I guess it's planned.

there mist be fixed some bugs though: for example check your profiles and also the message scrooler on the enw topic must be shorted a bit

Profile -> Look and Layout -> Don't show users' signatures.

I kinda miss those links to wiki/blog, for there is no real frontpage for 2238 users are now short of more links :<

That obviously will be back when template will be finished.

I have avatars and signatures disabled since a long time already. Makes reading a lot easier.

Oright, theme updated. Current one (based on BlackRain (http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2216) by Crip) shouldn't make any serious problems. There are still tiny details to fix here or there, but it shouldn't take much time to fix - and it's more "usuable" than template from yesterday ;p

Well so far it's an adjustment. I like the idea bout the last few pages on short cuts for threads with more than 6 pages.

It got my hopes up thinking the game had got changed too.  You C#$K teases!!!!!  J/k

nice layout though hope it maintains working for ya.

When notification about new post in watched topic/forum is sent via email, will it be possible to enable also sending of the text in the new post, i.e. you can read the whole post in your mailbox and don't have to visit the forum.

It is possible to access penultimate page. Just click on 3 dots. It will extend to sth like this:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

Cant reply in trade section is bad idea, sometimes buy sell is reply is usefull :P Like saying its good trader etc

i highly dislike new forums no being able to reply in trade and for some reason when i tryed to post a picure the fourms sent me a warning that i was spamming ......  >:(

Don't know if already reported (did not search) but pool editing icons are not there.
Remove/lock/edit pool are "imageless".

I believe you may want to say "poll" not pool. :P But yes, the template is still under construction.
