Title: The Roaming Tribals ->RP group

Greeting, me whant make RP group: purpose: RP some tribals

requirements:
1.New char that hase a specific build
2.IRC and to know how to talk in english(optional: have skype instaled
3.Lot a of Imagination(optional: the ability to talk like Yoda)

what you must do?
1. Do a new caracter that has this build:

2. Name your char in the next format: Tribal___(exemple: TribalLag, TribalNick) but no space in the name or special marks(ex: no Tribal Lag or TheTribalX(TribalX is ok) or TribalxOMGx)
3. look after me on IRC
4. have fun


We do not alow:
1.to change the build
2.to take other skills(we are tribals, the only thing we know is Spear fight moastly and ODM)
3.to not have fun


if you whant furder info, PM me


Important notes:
we do not have a base
we will work after the wipe too
every one is welcomed!

Tribal guys would know a little about first aid of course.  Making them healing powders n all.

Couple of tribals using guns, like Sulik and the Chosen One.

But yeah, agree with Michael, tribals are well versed in first aid, and also in sneak, stealing, throwing, smashing and speech.

They also come with different SPECIALS. Some are stronger, others are petite. Some are fugly and others pretty.

ok ok, we will use this build till the wipe

after we will add new builds, like shaman, scouter, traders etc

Why is the build a definite no compromise? Like others have said they have decent healers, scouts etc. Also why does the SPECIAL have to like that? I also thought tribals were actually unique people with different appearances, strengths and weakness', I thought the only thing that defined tribals from everyone else was their culture and lack of modernised skills.

tribals would have more then 4 str man there in the wild all the time they would have atleast 7

the build i made is a hunter build, he is specialized in unsing the spear

we will have other builds in the future, now is just for the fun of making it

I believe one could find one or two prejudices in your original post, LagMaster. Maybe you should replay Fallout 2?

Sure Sulik was helluva good with a .223 pistol but his massive knockbacks with sledgehammer made me lol.

It is, however, an empirically proven fact that tribals tend to cause damage to their allies when bursting SMGs. This also applies for long haired people who wear leather and work in caravans, but oh well.

Well, primary tribal classes:
Hunter (per and agi, outdoorsman-throwing-first aid [need also to be able to use meele weapons, like daggers])
Warrior (strenght and agility, meele-throwing-unarmed)
Shaman (inteligence and charisma [since they are a sort of leader], doctor-first aid-speech)
Scout (lot of agility and per, outdoorsman-first aid-meele)
Outcast (see Kaga, he learned to used a bit of everything)

Your tribal RP works great. You already have no ideea how to take a normal size screenshoot. Also you are not RP tribals, you are RP a tribal - single build -. You could insert a gay tribal there, a tribal that only knows to gahter flowers and give them to the other tribals. Or a tribal that has been touched by the holly ghost and can craft BA's... and condoms (having the gay tribal around can be dangerous for the group's health). A stalker tribal could be fun too (300% sneak), he could be in love with the gay tribal, whitch is married with the one touched by the holly ghost. Lag, do you realize that you could get your whole familly to play this game? This is crazy!!!

I like this rp idea its sounds good but I'm not really fond of this build. I have some build idea that I think could pass as tribal if you ok with it I would post them here for further debate.

Hm took some time to post it. I can't guarantee you will be seeing me as a full level char with this one since I have too many chars already (more then 3 other says its ok but I would have preferred to have 2 only). Ok a bit info why I put the stats and skill like the way it shown on the picture.
I think tribals should be good at both unarmed and mellee so both is tagged outdorsman should be too so that too, about the stats I think a tribal shouldn't be too bright but should be well built and have good physical abilities. When I made this one in the planer I thought that this would be a gecko and brahmin hunter tribal who works toward the goal to have foods for the tribe. About the chosen perks well as a tribal I don't think I would wear any armor though it would look a bit lame that the char will run around in a vault suit but I think its just a question of imagination.

some things are good, but some are useless

for example the Doger perk, instead take a second LifeGiver and increas the Endurance to 10(you can sacrifice STR from 5 to 3
also melle and unarmed are not good taken togheder,especialy with Perception 6. you can change the melle to any weapon skill, like small guns
                                                                              OR
also melle and unarmed are not good taken togheder, take doctor and you can lower the perception to 1 and give in other places, like Luck and no need for Unarmed, take melle and you can try to make a cripeler tank build, so instead of Awerness take Better Criticals
also taking the 1 handed perk and the Finesse perk it will be an awesome melle cripeler

let's hope for the best next wipe

Well about the strength lowering you are right it would be more useful to make it smaller but I hate having it below 5 its mainly because I feel chars with 2-3 st should be weaklings but most of the time they goes by 10 en I know its possible and they will be powerful but I still don't like it. About the dodger perk you probably right about taking the lifegiver instead. About the taged skills I knew that melle and unarmed are not good taken together (well people think of it as a waste which is true) but I personally ok with it and would rather keep it. The other changes you suggested about stat points and traits they are good but it would make him more like a pvp fighter which isn't bad but I would prefer use him for mainly pve since tribals aren't hostile (only towards slavers but we can't see that on players so it removes the most valid reason to attack). Also the 6 lk is only there for thoughnes personally I would make the char with less luck and more en, ag and st and instead of two thoughness I would take 2 bonus move since I prefer tb over rt... (sad thing it does nothing in rt)
Btw I have to say the most fun I had was with my first char he has some lame stats 6 in and 6 ag its useless that way but still I had some really nice fun playing with him till he reached lvl 21.

Yupp... Not new players ask for tribal skins, and they know what they are doing. Yet, GMs say "No". Why? I have no idea :)

Well personally I don't care about skins ok you look lame if you try to roleplay a mutant when you look like a generic player but for a tribal I don't see why that poor guy wouldn't have the story that:
 "When me was walking in the mountains I come across a dead with a strange blue cloth the cold was a bit unbearable and I after praying for the death I took that cloth with me. Since that I'm wearing that."
Something like this is ok and better then go around please give me skin though its my personal idea only and I'm not found of skins for players ok it can be interesting but they are not complete ghouls can't use a lot of weapons mutants can't use a sledge robots (they shouldn't roam the waste) can use rifle and smg maybe pistol too haven't checked it lately... Though as a tribal I would use fist, spear and knife only but I still don't think that skin change would be ok it would just make other say why he and not me.

It would be more fair to choose his skin, and keep the unconvenient of that skin all the time, that ask gm to give a skin to an already done character. (that wasn't built for that skin)

to change the topic a bit I'll suggest this...

instead of mandatory builds how about guidelines;

- No tribal may use a firearm

- To be admitted into the tribe one must be knowledgable in the ways of the spear

- one must also be savvy in the ways of the waste (good outdoorsman)

these could then be tested through the initiation rites.

-make the character kill a group of rad scorpions with a spear, then make him create antidote from the tails so that he doesn't die of poisoning.

It would be more fun to create a character that will get tested and see if he meets the reqs than to dictate the build verbatim.
