Title: a way to highlight items on the ground
Post by: Dyce666 on May 03, 2011, 07:19:53 am
similar to diablo 2 is what i was thinking, it was ctrl+something if I recall correctly

anyways some kinda alias or button combination that allows items on the ground of an encounter to be highlighted

Diablo and similar games (Sacred, Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Witcher, Baldur's Gate) had Alt.

Actually diablo 1 has z, zoom in and find those pixels (similar to what we can do in fonline).

Do tell which encounters make it difficult to see items? don't you say caves, i'd prefer a highlight over rats and centipedes (deathclaws too) before i would want to know whats hiding in that little corner (YAY! condoms!)

I lose my throwing knives on a regular basis, its the low lying brown grass that camouflages them, other items can easily be unseen in this light tan (dead) grass lying in most random encounters.   Only way to even pick them up is to walk over it and click 'G', since they never highlight up on those hexes in which the grass camouflages items.

Forests and behind/under certain rock formations also cause similar effects.
