Title: How to be armorer?

Hello guys
im trying to be armorer, i have the money, repair and strong enought to be, following the wiki

ST = 4
Repair = 60%
Caps = 1500

i have
7
120%
1500

but when i talk with balthas at modoc, nothing happens

what wrong?

Have you taken any other professions? If you do, you can only have 4 levels of professions so doctor 3 armorer 1              or sg 3 bg1 things like that.

i dont see how much CH u have (or u mean CH with this ''i have 7'' ? )

Otherwise with 1 charisma he can get armorer 3

He means he has 7 Strength.

There are plenty of these types of threads, it's probably the same issue as always - the problem Slaver Snipe pointed out, he already has professions.

i dont have other professions
Balths just says this phrases...
"Please, you are scaring my son"
"What...What are you?"
"I killed brahmin better looking than you"
"im goint to have to ask you to leave, you are hurting my business."

but dont say anything about how to be armorer

It would appear that your charisma is too low.

Yep, in that case, just take Mentats and talk to him again.

If your charisma is 2, drink a beer, it will raise to 3 and you will be able to talk with Balthas.
If your charisma is 1, have a pack of mentats, it will raise your charisma to just enough and you will be able to talk with Balthas. Mentats cost quite more than beer, but they are useful for non-combat.
