the ability to mute chars that may be spamming a city or anything to that effect
~gag <playername>
-
wasteland is harsh! listen to them spamming bro.
-
You already have that ability. It involve a SMG, few ammo and some blood. I guess you understand.
-
There is already a mute command for combat message spam, so I don't see a reason why an ignore function for player messages shouldn't be in.

betting you're the typical spammer

As far as I know, there will be an ignore command in the next update (taken straight from the FOnline SDK).
-
But isn't there a player text ignore function already...?
Press those little buttons near your text box. there's one for all types of text. Combat, player text, and Misc text.

It mutes ALL the player floats, not only one single player one.

And it doesn't mute them. It just makes it not show on interface. Would only be good for people that you can't see that are yelling.

While we're at it, is there a way to mute your own whispering? I am sick of seeing two of every hilarious radio message I broadcast.

How can you ignore someone through command if you don't see his name, cause he is yelling and spamming from hidden place?
-
How about a filter like the badword list in Fallout, every text that has that in would be replaced to * or to an empty string. It could be a text file that is editable so every user can modify his own. I don't think there would be an easier way, but the console command is surely better how about changing it to disable by dialog?
Like you hear this shouting
dfgkjjrgw
Then you type this to console
~mute_player_who<dfgkjjrgw>
Later you can un mute them by
~un_mute<playername>
~un_mute_all

As Lexx said, there is already an ignore mechanism in some newer FOnline SDK revisions, so I guess it's a matter of an update of 2238.
