Title: Craftable/Useable Beds

How about, beds that allow you to sleep for a while, and you gain a bonus, most likely a XP Bonus?

There should be places you can either rent beds, or speak to bartenders and it will log you off, you must "Sleep" around 8 hours and you gain maybe a 4-8 hour XP bonus when you log in.
The beds themselves in cities would cost a few caps.

A crafting idea would be using some hides and wood, and a makeshift bed would appear infront of you, you can use science to dissassemble the bed possibly gaining some resources back.

What do ya think?

At least give credit where credit is due. 

But no, it isn't a good idea, levelling is already easy as taking a piss, now when its as hard as taking a shit, I might consider it.

I actually stole it from wurm, because i forgot about sleeping in fallout 3.. :P but true, leveling is easy, but if it was ever harder we could use it
it could also be used for other benefits? like say your down to 3/210hp, you could sleep and the next day you log on you'll be healed..or something..

It's just... wrong... You are suggesting - Log in, go to sleep, log off, watch porn, log in, get XP bonus, log off, watch porn and so on. I just do not like this. If the XP bonus will be big, people will find caps no matter out of where, just to sleep and gain experience. If the XP bonus is small, none uses it. I do preffer the healing idea though, you should be able to get out of the bed anytime tho, incase your gang needs emergency back-up.

I'm totally agree with suggstion. But there should be another bonuses, ofc. Such feature should be implemented, since there was a "sleep" function in F1/F2 which makes HP regenerate faster.

Nooooooo... i think he means a bonus to XP you gain.

Say you kill VC patrol or somthing and you get 100 xp.
Then with bonus, you get 110 xp instead.

Anyways, this suggestion, its err... its just that... umm...
During those few hours your sleeping, you coulda killed loads of things.
But it might benefit those who have to Log off for whatever reason.

However, i think this sums it up.

Sounds reasonable if this bonus will be given for a certain amount of time. It's like, when you just wake up, you can remember things better, than if you're tired.

I first hated the idea of it in FO3/NV, like it is cursed with the evil WoW spirit, but it actually makes sense, like Graf pointed out. If it's a reasonable amount and not too much, then I'd say go for it.

And how do you imagine this can work in a multiplayergame? Player XY decides to take a nap - boom - the time gets shifted for all other players too?

We could have the trains run on "individuals time".  As in everyones clock gets synced if they choose the "sleep until the train arrives" option.  This of course would only be available at the train station/motel.

I really do not see the alternative since its damned near impossible to accurately time a train stop unless one hits the station and logs off for whatever amount of real time/game time ratio, which is very in-efficient.
