Post by: Smalltime on February 02, 2010, 03:10:13 am
Show your support for FOnline: 2238 and head on over to the Xfire forums (http://www.xfire.com/forums/182627/topic/1640524/). I just posted a thread in hopes of getting xfire chat integration.

I'm pretty sure this is also the first time someone has tried to insult FOnline with a graph. We live in exciting times, people.

I just hope you're not at the 'red point stage' all the time.

The good thing is, that you can even kill the green point very fast.

Nothing is impossible.

Btw. there is a misstake in the first post:
Quote
The game is based on the same engine as fallouts 1&2

This is wrong. The FOnline engine has nothing to do with the original engine. It just looks like Fallout 1 and 2, that's all.

/Edit: After thinking about the graph again, I tend to say it's wrong and doesn't come close to the reality. It's true that you don't stand any chance against older players, if you are a newbie. But then again, I know some people who just started again one week ago and they have a base now, basic equipment, etc.. they are doing well. It's true that they wouldn't stand much against NA or DA or whatever other big gang, but I don't see what's wrong in this. In fact, it would be silly if they could. A different issue is getting killed by anyone in towns, but then again... that's what can happen, if you don't take care. So...

:P A lvl5 guy with 100BG and a rocket launcher could very well kill a lvl15 guy, if hes lucky and stuff :)
Or he can do as me... blow up his teammate then himself... twice... :D

Sorry about that, the looks and the import of the creature/master.dats mislead me. Keep up the good work.
Also: It isn't that hard to get good gear it just takes a bit of time and having a few people you know be crafters helps a lot too.
