Title: reputation decay and "unliked" factions

basicly when you join enclave or raiders reputation with other factions drop significently (-1000 right ?) and so everyone shoots you
but with recent change reputation decay - so after few days the rep should grow enough so they should be friendly again - or not ?

I have no experience with negative reputation that high, but i took me 24 hours to get
-100 rep in NCR back to 0. So it is possible to just wait until your bad karma is gone, but
it could take some days.

If you have -1000, it will take 100 real-life days for your reputation to get back to 0 (+10 per day for 100 days). It will take 61 real-life days for your reputation to go to -390, which is the, if I remember correctly, the lowest point you can get with still being "Neutral".

ok best i got it now - reputation  lose when joining enclave is totaly secondary.  You are being attacked by eny guard in any city that is not friendly to enclave ( i think only new reno is as you gain reputation with them for joining).
They start shooting due to low rep at -1000 i think . wiht -380 NCR shoot on sight , junktown -200 - same . VC was like -80 and still shoot on sight.
But the msot interesting one was gecko - rep 0 , i can enter city all fine but inside their plant they shooted on sight.

so basicly it has nothign to do with reputation (quite lame if you ask me its obvious none will stay in given faction if almost everywhere else he got shooted at sight - and there is no real benefit for staying  )

so basicly im screwed.. i resign vault city becouse i had to to gain access to energy weapons profession on the navarro then i found out that im already maxed out on professions and i resign from the enclave faction.. without vaul city i have no source of incoming.. istn there a way to gain positive rep with VC?
