Title: New Transport : The Bus

I have this idea of a new transport... a bus that can carry 10 people normal speed like the scout... and low the slots of the hummer and the hingway so this whould be more usefull...

it would be better to have buses where trains doesnt go, for example vault city - new reno - sf route or something like that :> as with current travelling speed you spend more time alt tabed then being actually in game.

There's a military truck in game (only a scenery though), it could be made a vehicle obtainable through some unique rare, long, epic quest etc :P (The kind of quest everyone loves to work on!)

I second that as well - NCR/NewReno/Redding line would differ from the train, but being essential the same transportation.

Perhaps a scavenger vehicle made from aluminum tubing recovered from lawn furniture.
It would combine 3 possible elements:

1. Land Sailing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_sailing). Extra speed in flat areas and/or near mountains (not in mountain tiles).

2. Pedals/chain drive- upright or recumbent. Speed based on Endurance/Strength.

3. A simple motor attachment like this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorized_bicycles). Speed from Rotgut.

Possible a sidecar add-on.

As for the Bus, it is about time.

I'd like an RV with workbench.
Make it cost a million caps.
Of course this would be gamed, wouldn't it?

That might be fun. If it was possible, you could have it work kind of like that idea for travelling with a Caravan. You might randomly have to pile out of the bus  on rare occasions to help the other passengers deal with some bandits trying to shake down the Bus, for instance.

Oh yes, maybe a bus implementation would involve code/scripts that could be re-used for implementing the Caravans.

Doesnt exist, just as render.
Unless someone recreates the mesh and twist the render into the texture... But alas noone will ask for it, so noone will do it. What is a shame, since this is interesting challenge.
