Is the 1 minute wait to respawn timer really necessary ?
how about 30 seconds?
it takes you another minute to get anywhere anyway.

I want a playerkill cooldown :D
Seriously, if 1 minute is too long for you then you should die less. And 1 minute is humane, there are games with longer respawn timers.

To give a comparison: TLA's is something about 3+ minutes,

I think that 60 seconds for 2238 is fine, but I also think it should be dependent on the map you died in. This way, some PvP/PvE events that GMs make could have shorter re-spawn timers due to it being a map only used for that event.

And also, dying in a guarded town while being protected could have a decreased timer.
