Title: Entrologist/Hubologist Armor
Post by: DocAN. on March 01, 2011, 03:26:46 pm
I was thinking about some new Armor type, wich will be available in SF only.
This Armor would be craftable only by some NPC ( it can be Crockett - coz he is a scientist and he have some knowledge about armors).
This New Armor woud have stats smilar to CA, but it would have more AC coz its lighter then previous one.
     AC=30
    * Normal : 45/5
    * Laser : 60/8
    * Fire : 30/4
    * Plasma : 50/4
    * Explode : 40/6
    * Electrical : 50/2

To get this item player will need to bring to Crockett following items:

2nd option:
Robes could be usable to hide current armor type as Wipe suggested : "... making robe to be weared over other armors (like CA here), then i would say yes... "

Also as the one or the other might have heard already, we are adding a new armor item. It's a sand colored robe, created by x'il (who also worked on the long hair and bald head dude), some of you might know it already from the Fallout modding community.

The robe will be available for cheap money at most of the traders in the wasteland. Let's not be that blue anymore all together! Switch yer bluesuit to the new sandsuit and be a hipster too!

And seriously... piece of dirty material with stats of CA? It have same amount of sense as Bridgekeeper Robe - none.

Why not? It's a combat armor from inside, while it's still a robe from outside. I like it, coz it could bring some diversity to the game before implementing 3D.

Its not a Real Life its a game, same none sense have many items in this Game.
For example, how can you smoke some Ciggarets without a lighter?

If suggestion will be about making robe to be weared over other armors (like CA here), then i would say yes - it's just a robe and would be great to wear it over "real" armor. But making it totally new item doesnt sound good to me.

Who said it wouldn't be changed at some point? ;)

Ok, but i think it easier to make new armor then to implement some script wich will allow to wear Robe over other armor.

Robes will be implemented.
