Hello there! ;)
What's your favorite fallout music/soundtrack?
I like the "Fallout 3 - Tranquility Lane Music".
I would put that one as my favorite music.

My favorite soundtrack would be Fallout 3 Soundtrack: "Irradiated Sunrise"

So tell me, what is YOUR favorite music/soundtrack?

Sorry to say, but the Fallout 3 soundtrack was very very generic and uninspired compared to the original one. Not saying Inon Zur is a bad composer, but he just failed at creating the correct atmosphere. The newly composed ones in Fallout: New Vegas were nice though, he experimented a bit and it went good. Also, what has that Tranquility Lane soundtrack to do with a postapocalyptical atmosphere?
My favorite ones are the Necropolis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtBgcnV8Ztw) one for it's "creepiness" - sounds like total desolation and absence of life, same as the Desert Wind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hVA5TvovjU) theme. I like the Modoc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69Qr8iChODs&playnext=1&list=PL56B393A4D3A31CDA) Theme for it's melancholic/hopeless structure and the Arroyo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHp8ukYGuGA&feature=related)one for it's sounddesign.

The tranquility lane music is played during a fallout 3 mission.
It reminds me of fallout 3 and all the funny places there.
Its not a postapocalyptical song really... It just reminds me of fallout 3 :)
I like your choices alot however! ;)

My long time favourite:
"Metallic Monks" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iy4tStuK7s)
Other good tracks:
"Gold Slouch" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lN9mKZ_UJM)
"Industrial Junk" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyjupIVmTzE&feature=related)
"Trader's Life" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PEcfuKOJ-A)
"Dream Town" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzMHvvBqVuY)
-
Metallic Monks
Arroyo
Modoc
San Francisco
-
Definitely Trader's life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PEcfuKOJ-A).
-
Den is my favorite, then it goes..
NCR
Arroyo
Modoc
But all the soundtrack is beautiful and I liked how fallout 3 and new vegas included all those old school songs.
Recently I have been in San Fran waiting and the music is quite nice as well.
All the songs are nices too such as Kiss to build a dream on and maybe.

Nobody remembers this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtB8bL6NAL4&feature=related
That's what youth is like nowadays, they never care about History, they don't remember the humble past of the now mighty New California Republic :P

Fallout 1 doesn't have kewl encounterz liek teh star trek one and monty python lawl!11 xD
;)
But yeah, wish they'd reused this and Metallic Monks in FO2.
-
Well Eternauta, "The Second Chance" fits New California Republic as well. Even in title.
Shady Sands in Fallout - rebuilding small community, start to live anew.
Shady Sands in Fallout 2 - second chance to rebuild some sort of country.
-
But "second chance" isn't played in NCR, it's "Traders life". ;)
-
Damn, listening your choices, I love all of it as much as mine... All F1-2 soundtrack are excellent...
-
Very much true. Hard to decide which is the best when all are awesome. :)
-
A kiss
May be...

Yes, but I'm talking that "Second Chance" would be in NCR either, because this track still fits the town. :)
-
I just wanted to say I liked a track.

Liked that also, but best soundtracks in my option are: Modoc and Redding.
