Title: Random Items Like Lighters?

Simple question;

Are there uses for the random items you sometimes spawn with or find in the wastes, such as lighters, flowers, deck of cards, postcards, things like that?

It's a very newb question I know.. but the wiki didn't help me out.

You can bring them to a certain NPC in Boneyard which nets you a few xp and such.

Yeah I just found 3 lighters in a cave... was wondering if it had any effect on cigarette smoking or something. alright thankyou very much for the info. I guess this topic could be locked or deleted if need be. Guess I'll be heading to boneyard to sell some zippos. =D

Lighters are worth 100 caps when sold to the misc vendors (bartenders, usually, but also Sha Enin and others).
Don't take your random items to the Boneyard until you get the quest. He asks for different items in different amounts.
