in the game Alien Swarm if you pressed the "c" key you can start talking with your mic, how about we do the same in FO?
like: [=shout,]=talk,shift=wisper

Random stuff and infantile bullshit in textform is already enough, we don't need that.

Yeah, just like that.
NCR will become an.... interesting place if this would get implemented.
-
Yeah, something similar to Mumble/Teamspeak, but ingame, and with the ability to spam and troll other people who do not join the same Mumble/Teamspeak as you, without typing.
-
and now we can make singers that can win caps from players
-
No, LagMaster, no. If it was implemented, nobody would do that, maybe only you, until you get shot.
"Singing" for caps is something that can be done via the chat system, for roleplaying purposes.

oh god no
mute function is a must

It will end in a mess. People running around, shouting music, etc. etc.
Better use Skype or TeamSpeak, if you want to use some microphone.

ok, but can we at least be able to talk in radios?
-
I doubt. It would also increase the amount of traffic used for the server. Not that we have any shortage, but why wasting, if it's something that can be done with external software much better.

Bleh, better use Mumble!

Devs answered. Plus, this is not a really needed feature and would take much time to implement, time that is better spent on implementing new features or balancing existing ones. If you want to talk, there are softwares already used by community such as Skype, TeamSpeak, and Mumble.
