Why would you take away our mutants? It's not mutants that is the problem, the problem is the freeze on load when you get hit. It's not our fault that happens dont take away our mutants!!! they were already expensive as shit anyway.

sure.. human bg at spawn points. they are fast but low hp...after 3weeks they will be 90k for each

I know, like i said mutants aren't the problem. it's the crash when your hit while loading is the problem. Disabling mutants isn't going to solve anything!!

I hope it will make some balance. Look at prices. Over 90 000 for minigun mutant. It's equivalent of 3 goddamn Depot bases. Look at other mercenary prices. Over 1000 caps for a dog! I hope the prices to get back to the normal, I mean available for someone outside The North Bandits, Chosen Soldiers, TTT LA, VSB etc.

the problems are not the mutants - there are two problems ->
first: respawning bug when mercenary attacks u
2nd: economy spoiled by high intrest rates (this is the reason of high mercs prices it is called inflation -> like USA is printing bilions of dolars without any value -> the same banks here are spamming millions for every thinking players) maybe cutting the itrest rates to 0.5% - 1% could help a little ? Or just change the intrest rates time of spawning income ? From 1 day like we've got it now to I dont know 3-7 days ?

+Add the fact that they can port out of map even if they are in combat, which with a car leads to Artillery strikes (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=11627.0).

This is great news. Hope all mercs get removed in the end, its such an abused feature, not sure I ever saw mercs in use other than at spawn points.

Honestly, this was precipitate and totally wrong, beyond ridiculous. Mutants mercs are one of the differentials of 2238, is part of the game. I must admite that they are really great in pvp, but we can even compare to players. Mutants shoot without thinking, are slow, don't use FA ou stin (they should).
They help in pvp, are sensational. I don't have a big faction. It's impossible to face factions that have 10 players in city and another 10 at preview and I'm not talking about TC.
Decide to take off one of the most characteristics elements of server, just because it's being used wrongly.
Removing it form game, 10 great players can't fight back 30 noobs.
And if you complained they were killed for mutants, to purchase them is totally equal to everyone, use or not, mutants in pvp tactics do not interfere builds. The mentality of the game, and pvp in itself, all this needs time to be thought
and calculated.
If you enter a city with 4 snipers camper, using the mutants can say goodbye to
them.
I've faced several players using mutants, and never had problems, I may have died,
but this is a tactic.
Honestly the decision to remove them (temporarily or not) of the game ruined the fun of
many inocent people, and who is celebrating the departure of them are just noobs, no strategy
entering the city without thinking about them or are waiting to die.
I'm really sad :/

Also they can be use when team have 20 players. Count 10 mutant artillery to it and there you go ...

Yes, dogs should only take up half a slot.
Also, there should be different kinds beyond the 2 we have now.
Pay extra for each feature:
"Mean" = better attacks.
"Tough" = have Toughness.
"Greater" = big dogs (more HP, better knockdown)
And of course "Mutated", which like the Mutated Molerats, will have extra HP and toughness.
So a Tough Mutated Greater Mean Dog would be the most expensive option.

Dude, thats actually a badass idea. I suggest to put this in suggestions :P.
EXCEPT, I would rather make it where you can buy a dog, and, it would only be one of these things for the type of dog your looking for, and who knows maybe it can be put into mercenaries as well.
