Title: how do you refill your car?

im a bit stumped on this any help would be nice

left click on it
hold it until you will be shown a menu
pick backpack icon which will open your inventory
than click MFC/SEC from it
thats all

after that you can check fuel status by using science on your car

thank you but also what tools do you need to repair it?

You need a normal tool (the one you can craft with 2 metal parts and 3 flints) in your active hand,
then use skill repair (8 on keyboard) on the car to repair it.

This is the hard way. The easiest way to do it is to bring it into NCR, step away from it and yell "CAR HERE!" Then you will see a lot of players run up to fill it with gas for you, for free. Sometimes it takes a few of them to try to fill it up all the way, but usually they're pretty quick. You'll be ready to go in no time.
