Title: FOnline short story
Post by: Eternauta on January 29, 2011, 07:39:19 pm
The sand storm was terrible but I could hide underground, below a ruined building. I woke up the next morning and went up back to the surface. It was quite bright already. Always that bright, hot wasteland sun...

The place looked familiar, as if I had been there before. I searched around, maybe there was something worth scavenging, but only found some useless junk. I checked my bagpack to see what I had managed to save from the storm. A bottle of Nuka Cola and pack of Lucky Shot cigarettes were the only stuff worth keeping.

I decided it was time to leave those ruins and started running away. I saw some ghouls and a caravan cart but I ignored them and kept running.

I could see a walled town in the distance and so I knew I was near Vault City. I got there quickly but stayed outside near the gate.

After waiting for a couple of hours, some old friends showed up and said hi. They made some jokes about my name but they did not annoy me, in fact I laughed as well. Then it was time to leave so we got into their car. We drove into the wasteland and stopped after a very long trip. We were surrounded by ruins now.

We got out of the car and one of my friends opened the trunk. He showed me some brahmin hides and said "take these and make a tent".

Once the tent was done, they left me here alone and drove away. I have been near this tent since then. Some of them come from time to time, but I am always ignored.

For those who might not get it: this story is about a FOnline tent alt. I was surprised not to find this kind of parodies.

Anyway I hope you liked it.
