Can hired mutants effectively use laser/plasma rifles?

Indeed they can, they miss of course but it isn't that often. Then again i level them up.

They can even handle a gatling laser. Makes them not tougher, but even more expensive.

I would say they can handle both plasma and laser rifle effectively, but with laser they miss a bit more in my personal view of the issue.
