Sorry. Now is correct.
5 races and then only 4 follow, this is worring
Sorry, today I will correct. There are about 4-5 classes, plus 4-5 prestiges (moreover you can multi-class)... Anyway, this is RPG at first. RPG with DMs.
-
If you ever want to release that game and don't want it to be shut down by Bethesda or rather Zenimax company, you should get rid of the Fallout 3 assets in there. (beds, shelves etc.)
-
Wait, is it a real MMORPG or it's yet another fan faction? If it's a game, then why did you put it in FanArt section? Cause I remember Fallout D20 pen and paper game and it confused me a while.
-
i got a small question(actualy more:)
do you got gameplay vids?
what i must do to join
are the controls easy?
-
Those tribal concept arts look bitchin'.
-
this looks fantastic.

Thanks you all for inspiration.

Man, It is not a single. It is Persistent World - we need to test an area by area, item by item. So there are everyday tests for Blog's followers.
-
Is it need NWN2 or is it new game based on engine?

Thanks you all for inspiration.

I believe they will have no problems with Zenimax or whatever 'couse this looks like a mod to NWN2 (Server[Persistent World-PW] with DM's, so you have to role play and stuff. Nwn is great for that kind of thing) and probably they threat it as a mod.
Questions:
Which times you're going to base this on? And which part of Fallout universe?
-
One thing.Keep it simple.Dont complicate the game.Nobody likes complicate games.
-
Negative. Fallout is about harsh and it SHOULD BE hard. I'd love to see an extremely hard game. Way more hard than Fonline.
To prove myself I'll say that I'm playing the most of games in a maximum difficulty and this is MUCH more interesting than easy ones.
The only people that like easy games is casuals (which isn't playing Fallout of Fonline for a long time) or noobs. Simple.
-
I played EVE Online.....Damn thats complicate...

I think that Fallout and every Fallout mod should be like :
OMFG! WE'VE JUST PWNED JUNKTOWN SCOUTS WITH MELEE! HUNTING RIFLE IS MINE! WE ARE KINGS OF WASTELAND WITH THIS SMG, MAUSER AND HUNTING RIFLE! : O
not like
Oh I've just lost ba...well...nevermind, i have plenty of em in base.

I dunno. Fonline isn't that hard, you respawn for christ's sake. Try playing Diablo II on HC.
Also Black Ops on hardest difficulty doesn't ammount to anything.

Hey guys! Falloutd20 looks really exciting! Guess what?
I created my own version of Falloutd20 for pen and paper. Contact me, id love to get involved in your project.

It's still nwn2 under the new icons, models and classes with its flaws, bugs and limitations.
I'm wandering how firearms will work since you can't make new ones or even new ammo and you are stuck with xbow, bow and sling.
Nwn2 can handle 64 players on one server, so this won't be a mmo but a game for few... that may be a good thing, you won't get all the scum like fo.

Greetings, guys! I've been working a lot on race-system and finally finished it. Moreover, I've managed to imply new appearances and outfits and PC-tools (PIP-Boy that allow to execute plenty of animations and actions like build camp or fire). And now I'm in converting armors. As you can see me in
Metal Armor Mark II...
Annnnd.... in a few weeks some of you will can alfa-test a small peace of Wastelands by themselves as testers :) So be prepared: you will absolutely need "Never Winter Nights 2" (with both addons) to install our client...

FALLOUT D20: SIGNING UP FOR ALFA-TESTS HAS BEEN OPENED
Hello, everybody! As you can see, we have several updates of our blog’s design. Now you can see all our project staff at the top of our logo. And there is a poster inviting for alfa-tests at the right, below the logo.
So, about the Alfa… We need volunteers for regular alfa-tests. And that may be you! That means, some of you will be able to check up the world of Fallout D20 very soon. We are going to launch Alfa at the end of March… And everything you need to be part of it is just sending (my e-mail 35@inbox.ru) further form fulfilled with your answers:
1. Your Age.
2. Your Country.
3. Do you have Never Winter Nights 2 (with both add-ons, not a pirate-version)?
4. What resolution do you play Never Winter Nights 2?
5. What is your video-card?
6. What time can you play/test?
7. Why should we choose you?)
You have a month to join our testers' team! See you!
-
not a pirate-version)
What, you really expext us to have still the working CD somewhere?
-
This green on screen is it exit grind? Whether is it an open world?
-
This green on screen is it exit grind? Whether is it an open world?
Yes, that is exit grind.
Yes, it is an open world... we can apply the map like F1/2/2238 (but in hi-resolution)... or like 3d view from sputnik of Eclave or smth. (so that you can observe the whole area and track other players and mobs if u have enough Outdoorsman)... but i'm still thinking about it...
-
(im downloading porn, and your blog must be full of images so please)
what are the requisitions for the game?
also, why are you using FO:NV and other Bethesda and Zenimax stuff? your game will be obliterated, and it seems not very falloutistic, so its not needed
its a game of "clic for shot, we dont need brave players only chotos tactics"?
what in the hell is "Never Winter Nights 2" its a classic mitologic game? (thats maybe put me out from beta)
are you concient that most people from my country arent able to get any original game? (dont answer this)
im a old game lover... not only MMO: Rayman. Spyro, Syphon Filter, Wasteland, Fallout, everything that not suits with the classical RPG or MMORPG of classic mitologic games (i just hate it)
if you answer, thanks
-
The guy above me is right in certain cases. You don't expect us to get the original game do you? Maybe some people don't have enough money to do it or other reasons. You should have thought about this before you made your "D20".And most of the stuff I've seen in your videos are still NWN2 .And since is a NWN 2 mod and not a Fallout,1,2,3,4 mod you'l have serious copyright problems.
-
Here we go, friends. This is the map of region of Fallout D20. The Hoover Dam is to the West of here and the Capital Wasteland is to the East. Players' first habited location to discover is the Twin Mothers.
TWIN MOTHERS
Twin Mothers is a small tribal village in the American southwest. They're the descendants of Vault 29, and their village is built on top of the Vault. The Vault itself ceased working long ago, but it's still a holy place to the Twin Mothers. Hecate has a powerful influence here, but the tribe hasn't completely fallen under her sway. The tribals worship the goddess Diana.

Thats not how metal armor looks .... take a look on what the guys over 3d development forum did.

they are doing stuff which looks similar to f3, and this is not so good..

Yes, I see. It's very nice but they should do stuff similar orginal Fallouts, 1 and 2.
-

It's because of stolen artwork and models from FO3/New Vegas.
-

Why stolen?
-
Because you can't just take assets and work of other people just like that?
-
Because you can't just take assets and work of other people just like that?
Even if you do it, it's still not stealing, it's illegal copy.
-
Ah yes, that's such a huge difference!
-
Even if you do it, it's still not stealing, it's illegal copy.
So when you will "take" something from shop without paying it is not a stealing, its just illegal copy?
-
So when you will "take" something from shop without paying it is not a stealing, its just illegal copy?
When I take something from a shop, this thing is not in the shop anymore, it's only in my pocket, so it's stealing. The models from FO3/NV are still here, so it's copy.
And yes, this is important. From a juridic view as well as from a philosophic view.
-
FOnline consists mostly from Fallout art, would you consider it stealing? (granting, the FOE is self-made, while D20 picks everything from NWM2 and F3)
No, because it's a non-commercial project, thus, a mod. But i wonder if Beth would be pissy about their copyrights.
Also, plain copypaste objects from other games isn't very original, though. I hope there will be more original content.
-

So from law and philosophic point of view e-stores that contain music, games or e-books doesnt exist and are only abstract vitrual beings? Nice logic :)
-

This point I agree with.
Just like the Internet. Abstract and virtual ;)
-
It isn't your project so don't worry about it. I don't worry about other people who example downloading illegal games, MUSIC or use whose stuff. It's their way - not my because I don't do it LOL ::)
-
As a developer and as an international lawyer (with TM and intellectual property specialization) I ask you to STOP DISCUSSING AND CHARGING LAW SUBJECT of the work. If you have you own problems u can discuss them with your psy. If you want to charge send your official accusations according to the law. No one force you even to download build. So, once again, please, don't f* other people and better do something valid.
-
It doesn't matter if you are an "international lawyer" or not, this is a discussion forum - where you btw only advertise your game here and don't actively do anything with the very subject of the forum, namely FOnline:2238 at all. If people want to talk about thing XY, they will.

It looks good so far. Keep it up.
That guy is doing a mod of a game using another engine, does it remind you something like... the game we actually play? Give him a break.
-
the action looks like taking place in something like 800-1300 not after 2200...
-
Izual, thank man.
vedaras, this is due to dis-doc of Van Buren related to this area (so don't worry - it has to be done so... but here will be securebots).
-
That guy is doing a mod of a game using another engine, does it remind you something like... the game we actually play? Give him a break.
FOnline is a new engine made from scratch. Unlike "Fallout" D20, we are not giving away source material, the clients have to have it self, as we do not provide them. Fail. Stolen artworks stay stolen artworks here.
BTW, Mr.Nixon - if you are only here to advertise, you'll get banned. Show some interest in the actual game, or this'll be you last post here.
-
Banning this and letting go on topics like "What faction you hate most".
Make my day.
-
You are free to ban the topics you feel the urge to ban then, V. Go on.
"Why do you hate" shows atleast some encourage towards the game, while Mr. Nixon is only here to advertise his shitty game full of stolen artworks.
Fail.
-

Am I the only one here, who think that you don't deserve a right to be a moderator with such attitude to the other people work?
-
Am I the only one here, who think that you don't deserve a right to be a moderator
He's not.
OK let it be the last off-topic message here, now if you post in this thread it is to comment the work that is done on this game, not to argue about copyright issue - that's his own problem, really. There are worst things on the internet than making a mod with models from Bethesda. The company doesn't need any of you to protect it, that mod will maybe be shut down, maybe not - who cares. For now look at the idea and concept and pics, that's all.
-
You are free to ban the topics you feel the urge to ban then, V. Go on.
"Why do you hate" shows atleast some encourage towards the game, while Mr. Nixon is only here to advertise his shitty game full of stolen artworks.
Fail.
Besides of music, did you developed FOnline engine and draw most of the art for What Remains? No? So leave him frigging advertise his frigging game, it's friggin Offtopic section here, not General Gameplay. I haven't seen Nixon bashing on your music or your mod yet, which can be seen in your profile EVERYWHERE.
How shitty his game is, is left to your subjective opinion, and it's not even done yet. So if you don't like it, stop commenting, Mr. Surf.
Aside from this, i haven't seen any enforcement of game participation in forum rules and it's not that Nixon is going all HURR BUY UNDERAGE VIAGRA ONLINE.
-
Concerning concept arts, please., don't worry: we will not use them in game. U seen the screen-shots, I guess they will be more cool loading screens then art...
I need a week off, but when I am back, can show you power armors suits... right now we are in texturing and making signs of Enclave and Bos )
-

Fail.
He dont agree with you, thats why he probably will get ban, not due to advertisiment ...
the action looks like taking place in something like 800-1300 not after 2200...
What i know, "What remains" or how its called too looks like from 1850 - 1900 and not from 2100+
This mod looks good, but you will always find people which will see only bad and not anything good
We will see MrNixon, keep working !
-
Surf u should relax. U posted once and everyone know your opinion. If i were u i will just forget about this topic. For me it does not looks like post apo crpg... :-\

The Twin Mothers area in progress:
ASSASINS CREED! :O Altair come back :O
BTW it's not falloutish :(
-
I checked that Twin Mothers area in Van Buren files and it should looks like that:
(http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/9074/twinmothers.jpg) (http://img820.imageshack.us/i/twinmothers.jpg/)
So MrNixons vision is not perfect but at least similar to original concept...
More info ;)
"The Twin Mothers is one of many tribes in the Fallout world. The thing that will set them apart from the other tribes is their culture and architecture. Culturally the Twin Mothers are a matriarchal tribe who worship a Goddess, the moon, and a God, her consort the sun. Women rule the tribe and make all governing decisions. Men provide for the tribe by hunting, fishing, and tending the farms. Architecturally the Twin Mothers are based upon the Anasazi Indians of the western United States. The Anasazi are best known for their dwellings carved into the sides of cliffs. Their culture reached its peak in pottery, weaving, and architecture.
The Twin Mothers are a gentle people who respect nature and life in all its forms. Unfortunately, these are not beliefs that are shared throughout the wasteland. As a result the Twin Mothers are often the victims of raiders. During such times they quickly retreat to their cliff dwellings where they are more than capable of defending themselves and waiting out any attacks. However, their livestock and crops are usually ravaged before the aggressors move on. The Twin Mothers take such setbacks in stride, thanking their gods for what they have and not mourning the loss of what they have not."
-
I wish you good luck with this project and I would love to see the future of it.
Take care.
-
Besides of music, did you developed FOnline engine and draw most of the art for What Remains? No?
Fail. Did you bother to read the FOnline license agreements? Ok, come back after you did that. As a disclaimer, for each piece of stock footage I use, I ask the author for permission, be it sfx samples/pictures etc, just like any normal being would do. I am not a guy who says "lol it's on the internet, It's free!11 xD xD" like some retardos on here. I respect an artists work. I especially respect fucking commercial works! If it is something that is used commercial, even without a Creative Commons license, you just can't take it, except you are said retardo, or just a fucking thief with no right to even preivew your work. I am glad that the team working on our game here stands for the same philosophy.
Surf.
I can comment on whatever the fuck I want, as long as I don't break any rules, as done already dozens of times in this thread by others.
Aside from this, i haven't seen any enforcement of game participation in forum rules and it's not that Nixon is going all HURR BUY UNDERAGE VIAGRA ONLINE.
How do you call some account posting stuff you might find only randomly depending on the site you host, ofcourse only posting in that topic? Yup, you call them spambots. Don't you fucking get that I don't have anything against that game (I, infact find the NWN2 engine pretty) - I just have something against said stealing?
Concerning concept arts, please., don't worry: we will not use them in game. U seen the screen-shots, I guess they will be more cool loading screens then art...
Why you didn't said that earlier? :) The Twin-Mothers Concept looks exactly how I imagined it from the Van Buren Design Docs.
Surf u should relax. U posted once and everyone know your opinion. If i were u i will just forget about this topic. For me it does not looks like post apo crpg... :-\
It looks rather promising ,that's why I am disapointed about above said stuff. And yes, anyone saying "it doesnt look like fallout" fails again, as this was planned for Van Buren and looks quite good.
-
Hello, guys! For those, who don't follow my blog yet: we've completed the work on player available armors and clothes. Here they are below for your fun :)
Keep in mind, that head-gear we will create separately and it could be equipped separately to armor. Except for full-armor, like Radiation Suit. Moreover keeping - power armors need Power Armor perk to equip them, and that perk, in general, is only available for prestige-classes (faction based), like Enclave or BoS, or for special hi-level builds (I'll be watching on really hi requirements to take that perk by non-faction char).

Twin Mothers is a small tribal village in the American southwest. They're the descendants of Vault 29, and their village is built on top of the Vault. The Vault itself ceased working long ago, but it's still a holy place to the Twin Mothers…
For the latest news on Fallout D20, visit www.falloutd20.blogspot.com.
You begin your journey throughout Post-Nuclear World at Four States region of former USA at 2255 AD, 13 years after "Fallout 2" ends…
13 years ago the Chosen One entered one of the main Enclave's bases using the damaged tanker and destroyed the Poseidon oil platform, killing the President of the United States and ending the Enclave's plans for region domination…
There are groups of super mutants at Four States region still searching for other refugees from the Master's army.
At 2248 AD the Legion began its conquest of the tribes of northern Arizona, southwestern Colorado, western New Mexico and southeastern Utah. Two years later, Caesar declared himself the son of Mars, Roman god of war. Nowadays, Caesar has recently established his first capital in the ruins of Flagstaff, Arizona.
TIP: Once a target has been selected, any valid action will automatically use that target. Select a new target or right click on open ground to clear the current target.
At 2254 AD, a year before Fallout D20 begins, a Brotherhood of Steel squad led by Owyn Lyons was sent to Washington, D.C. on the East Coast to search for technology and investigate reports of super mutant activity. Nowadays, that squad has arrived in the Capital Wasteland.
The Ballistic Orbital Missile Base 001 (abbreviated B.O.M.B.-001) is a large, doughnut shaped U.S. space station capable of firing twenty-four nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles, though it is currently only loaded with eight. It is capable of housing six people, with an area designated for living, recreation, and medical treatment, and a separate area for the true purpose of the station; missile control and launch center.
There was a serious escape from Tibbets Prison at 2253 DA, two years before Fallout D20 begins. The same year sentry robots at Bloomfield become semi-active - not moving, but the optical lenses and sensors turn on and start surveying for escaped prisoners from the Big MT.
At 2253 AD, two years before Fallout D20 begins, 38 NCR citizens are massacred by Mojave raiders. President Joanna Tibbett was voted out of office by the NCR Congress after a "timid" reaction to the massacre, and is replaced by Wendell Peterson. Shortly after that, new President Peterson dispatched three battalions of NCR infantry into the Mojave Wasteland.
TIP: Ghouls, robots, and some other mutants are all immune to critical hits and sneak attacks.
ODYSSEUS (also known as ULYSSES) is an extremely advanced A.I. created by Derek Greenway. At the time of the fall, ODYSSEUS was an order of magnitude more powerful than contemporary ZAX units. It was designed to coordinate and operate all of the Vaults before the Federal Vault projects were privatized.
After the Great War, ODYSSEUS, an extremely advanced A.I., became unstable and developed a split personality. The only "communities" that know of its existence are the machine intelligences governing Robot City.
TIP: When selecting weapons, pay attention to critical hit properties. Many weapons that do inferior base damage do more damage on critical hits or will score critical hits more often.
At 2247 AD, three years before Fallout D20 begins, after coming out of a strange and powerful fever, Jeremiah Rigdon, the leader of the Mormons at New Canaan, claimed that an angel appeared to him in a vision, calling him to be the living prophet of God.
TIP: Many combat abilities like power attack, burst mode, and sniper mode are activated by the mode buttons in the lower-right corner of your screen.
TIP: Remember: your weapons, armors and equipment wear out with the lapse of time. Examine them to find out their current durability state. And don't forget to repair them in proper time.
At 2245 AD, ten years before Fallout D20 begins, NCR halted production on the railroad lines. The need for coal diminished and the powder gangs rose up. In two years, NCR 5th Engineering Division blew up Burham Mines, causing incredible fires to break out all over the area, even in veins of coal encased in rock. Many died. Many became gehennas. Right after that NCR abandoned Burham Springs.
TIP: Level up your characters through the character screen (C) when they have enough experience.
TIP: Having a thug or scavenger in the party can be helpful for dealing with locks and traps.
The Four States Commonwealth was one of the thirteen commonwealths of the pre-war United States of America. Created in the early 21st century, it was comprised of the former states of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. After its destruction in the Great War, the area became the birthplace of the ruthless slaving group, Caesar's Legion.
Hidden away in the shadows of a large cliff, near the top of a mesa rising from the desert floor, is the village of Mesa Verde. It is the home of the Ciphers, a.k.a. the Painted People, thanks to their extensive use of body paint. They're one of the smallest tribes in the area, but their hard-to-reach village on the mesa enables them to hold out against superior numbers of aggressors.
The Reservation is a ghoul town in New Mexico, built around an old scientific research station, the Los Alamos Nuclear Testing Facility. It is naturally highly radioactive. The ghouls are sick of being the underdogs of the wasteland, and they have a new leader who's going to stick it to the humans good.
TIP: Hit the "G" key to toggle the Mode Bar on or off.
TIP: Planning out what abilities you are going to take at each level will help ensure you will be able to become the prestige class you want.
Dog City is what is left of Denver, Colorado after the Great War. It's a ruined city of dogs and skyscrapers. There is no real civilization here, just a series of salvager camps set up high in the skyscraper ruins, away from the endless pack of feral dogs which roam the streets below.
Boulder, also called as Stone City or Dome City, was one of the most prominent Pre-War research centers of USA. It seems, during the Great War China really wanted Colorado out of the picture. Boulder was no exception, the surface city turned into an ashen wasteland. Only a few buildings were left standing in town. Yet, atop its little hill, the massive Boulder Dome still stands strong.
TIP: Be mindful of the choices you make when interacting with other characters; straying too far from certain alignments may prevent you from gaining levels in certain classes.
By 2231 AD, Jeremy Maxson had assumed the position of Brotherhood High Elder. He wanted to restore the power of the Brotherhood by wresting all advanced tech from the hands of "unworthy people" by any means necessary. Naturally, this led to disputes with the NCR. Shortly after the destruction of the western branch of Enclave, a war broke out between the Brotherhood and the NCR.
Maxson Bunker was a pre-war fallout shelter built by a senator for his family and himself. Unfortunately, the war caught him unawares and the bunker was never used. Eventually a family member passed the secret on to Roger Maxson, who claimed it for the Brotherhood of Steel. Nowadays, the bunker's commander is General Andrea Brixley.
TIP: Check out the requirements for prestige classes when creating your character to get a feel for your character's overall class direction.
The Brotherhood of Steel disallowed the use of Stealth Boys. The side effects of the Stealth Boys were not discovered until the team using them had already begun to feel their effect. When the team was disbanded, paranoia over the reason began to set in and the team plotted against their leaders. They stole the Stealth Boys, fled the Maxson Bunker as deserters, and formed a covert group known as the Circle of Steel.
Fort Abandon is a rundown New California Republic fort in the American southwest. The railway has a crossroads here. It was originally called Fort Aradesh, and was a major fortification. However, Caesar's Legion attempted to destroy NCR's presence in the east, and actually succeeded in destroying the fort. The name changed after NCR's control of the frontier receded.
The Blackfoot tribe is a tribe from the former Arizona. It was the first of the tribes that Caesar took control of and forged into his Caesar's Legion.
Ouroborus is a village in Western Utah. It is where Hecate, the mad tribal "goddess" resides, as well as the Vipers, a group of raiders from the West who serve her.
TIP: You can alter the camera mode by hitting the asterisk (*) key on the number pad.
The Nursery looks like the last hope of the Wasteland, where seeds and other genetic information, preserved from the world before The Great War, have been stored. This hidden valley is a lush, verdant place. Harold has found his way here, but thanks to the tree in his head, has been marked as an "interesting specimen" and has been prevented from leaving by the Nursery's security bots.
Burham Springs or Burning Springs, as it is called nowadays, is a horrible wreck of a Pre-War mining community that has been burning for decades. The constant threat of death by fire, smoke, radiation, and horrible monstrosities keep the rest of the world away. The smoldering coal mines contain a wealth of technology, but the risk is too great for most people to bother.
TIP: Never underestimate the power of a well-placed trap.
Tibbets is a cold, sterile, steel-walled automated prison facility in what used to be known as Arizona, run by technology so ancient it dates back to the years before the Great War - nearly two hundred years ago. It is governed by the machine intelligence within the prison.
Due to the uranium demand shortly before the Great War, the U.S. government removed the Grand Canyon's status as a national park and allowed private mining companies to exploit its supply of uranium. The resulting mess was an environmental disaster. As a result, the Canyon has become one of the deadliest places in the wasteland, home to hideous mutants seen nowhere else.
TIP: Beware when you're in towns without guards. Gangs there will kill you without hesitation.
TIP: Be careful with drugs, some of them, like Jet, are instantly and permanently addictive.
TIP: At the Wastelands, trust nobody. Seriously, newbie-abuse is very popular.
TIP: Be careful. In the beginning random encounters are deadly. Even rats can kill you if you don't run fast enough!
TIP: You can go in the desert to search for resources. Resources are needed to craft items.
Bottle caps are the standard currency in Wastelands. By the beginning of 23rd century, they were almost replaced by NCR dollars, which were backed by gold. However, shortly after in an ironic twist of fate, caps once again became a regularly-used currency when the destruction of NCR's gold reserves by the Brotherhood of Steel caused the value of a dollar to fall dramatically.
TIP: Most of the caps in circulation are already in the hands of other players. To get around this check back at the shops every few hours, because the storekeepers' supply of caps is periodically refreshed.
TIP: If you want to see what objects in the world you can interact with, press the Inspection key. This is bound to the Z key by default.
TIP: If you want to see what enemies are nearby, you can cycle through them with the TAB key, or press \ to select the nearest enemy.
The Jericho Water Plant is located near the shore of the Great Salt Lake and is controlled by New Canaan. The water desalination plant is the source of New Canaan's prosperity, and brahmin-pulled water caravans from Jericho are becoming an increasingly common sight in the wasteland. Aside from New Caanan mormons operating the plant, Jericho is also home to a weird cult that lives in the caves near the plant.
TIP: You can change to different camera modes with the * key. There are four different modes, be sure to try them all and see which fits your play style. The camera can be controlled with the keyboard or the mouse, and you can fine-tune the camera behavior by going to the "Camera" tab of the options menu.
A group of fairly primitive, nomadic tribals, the Iron Lines patrol and chart the railways of the pre-war world. They collect and often use handcarts to make their way across the wilderness. When they travel, they usually form handcart caravans for mutual safety.
During the 20th century, the American military created a facility underneath Cheyenne Mountain, one mountain in a range of many on the western side of the United States. By 2253 AD, a huge section of the mountains became a great radioactive smoking crater, giving birth to a large population of glowing ghouls.
TIP: If you want to set up different equipment loadouts for your character, just drag the items from your inventory to your hotbar. You can even drag two items to the same slot if you would like your character to equip them immediately. For example, you can drag a weapon and a torch to the same slot or even two weapons. Clicking that slot will equip those items, and clicking it again will unequip them.
TIP: If there are any actions that you use frequently, you should drag them to the hotbar at the bottom of the screen. You can drag even Perks and Skills from you Character Sheet, equipable items from your Inventory, modes from the Mode Bar, or party commands from the Voice Commands menu.
TIP: If you want to quickly tell your party members what to do, use the Voice Menu, which is bound to the V key by default. The commands in that screen will allow your character to say certain things or play certain animations. Also, any command with a star next to it will issue an order to any AI controlled party members. You can even drag the commands to your hotbar!
TIP: You can control the camera with the middle mouse button, or by holding down the "Mouse Look / Camera Control" keyboard (bound to X by default). You can also use the arrow keys to move the camera, and using the CTRL key with the arrow keys pans the camera in "Free Camera" mode. You can change the speed of these keys and fine tune several other settings in the "Camera" tab of the options menu.
TIP: You have up to 10 different pages of hotbar buttons. You can change the current page by clicking on the arrow buttons on the hotbar, or by using the [ or ] keys on your keyboard. Also, holding down SHIFT and using the mouse wheel will quickly cycle through the hotbar pages.
TIP: Using marquee select in Strategy Mode lets you play Fallout D20 more like a real-time strategy game.
Moletown is a small town outside of the Tibbets Facility where a crazy survivalist had trapped all the buildings and dug out a series of tunnels beneath the town to try and wipe out anyone or anything that tried to crawl in there.
The Enclave is a secretive military organization directly descended from members of the pre-War United States government and military industrial complex, claiming to be the legal continuators of the state and styling themselves as such.
In 2242AD, 13 years before Fallout D20 begins, following the death of President Dick Richardson during the destruction of the oil rig, John Henry Eden contacted the surviving Enclave forces on the West Coast and ordered the Enclave's relocation to Raven Rock on the East Coast, claiming to be the Enclave's new president.
TIP: When you try to rest, you will be told how dangerous the area is. Be careful of wandering mutants, raiders and dire animals!
The Shi were the descendants of the crew of a Chinese Shi-huang-ti submarine that crashed in San Francisco during the Great War. The remains of this vessel were probably used to help build the Palace and the ship's onboard supercomputer was established as the Emperor.
TIP: Press "V" to use the Voice Menu to quickly give commands to your companions. These commands can be dragged to the hotbar.
TIP: The AI Off button in the lower right will toggle your characters' AI, preventing them from acting on their own in combat.

I like how you mixed backgroundinfos with game hints - but unfortunately it's a bit messy (not formatted) - "wall of text" comes in mind. ;)
-
Wall of text is quite right Surf, now onto a question about the mod. Am i right to assume you use Zehir's travel system for the random encounters and whatnot?
-
well i find the story of the game quite good. Now im curious, talking about 2238 does it have any story ? :D

Here's Loading Screen from Fallout D20 which I made... These Pip-Tips (and probably more) are displayed randomly at the bottom-right section):

It looks really good. I like it...
-
i just wonder why you nixon make models similar to bethsedas not interplay games, since most of fallout fans are fans of f1 and f2 :)
-
He didn't make them, they are models from Bethesda/Obsidian, as already pointed out in this thread.
BTW, it's called Brahmin , not Brahmins. :P
-
D&D never worked really worked in computer game, especialy with one character. It's lovely on paper, but when translated to computer game, it feels bland and empty. I just wonder how it's going it going work in Fallout universe, because in games using it (BG, NVN, etc.) it was about watching people autoattacking each other and missing like retards. (and those games were really saved by storytelling(BG,NVN), or epic battles (IWD))
Well good luck anyway.

No-one came on alfa :(
The further working on server is delayed until critical player-mass is accumulated.

First of all it's called Alpha, secondly perhaps if you actually answered posts instead of posting and then ignoring some people might join.
-
How can I put it to you MrNixon.... Not everyone has NWM original game with CD key.

Why nwn2? Whit nwn1 you could host more people I suppose, and with the rideable horse you could add easily cars (but my suggestion is no car so more people and less lag), sorry to say that I think Nwn2 is the work of the devil and betrayed the nwn spirit (if you have a decent idea you could do a module without spent a yeahr of your life)
