Title: Robots! For us Wasteland science wannabe nerds and repairman.

I suggest allowing science/repair knowing characters the ability to create small (and weak) robotic followers. Much like mercs (and very costly in resources to create) they would be able to guard areas, assist you in battle, and possibly carry your items.

I haven't thought out this idea entirely, but I believe the concept to be appealing. If this isn't yalls thing, thats okay too. I'm content crafting small energy cells and laser pistols all day long :P

(I will update this idea with more fleshed out thoughts and possibly types of robots if I come about to thinking of them. I just wanted to push forth the concept to see if it appealing or not)

It would still be nice to get a valid reason as to why the idea was shot down. I have a hypothesis as to why (would make hiring mercs useless, removing an entire capsink from the game), but without confirmation from anyone beyond a GM, I guess i'll never know.

Also the OH GAWD ITS DIS THREAD AGAIN isn't needed. The first respondent was good enough. Haven't you ever heard of new players? Oh wait... this is FOnline, wasteland is harsh, etc.

Robots play a big part in the Fallout universe. I support the idea of a robotic follower but they shouldn't be easy to come by at all. Maybe a quest or something to start getting them?

no thanks. enough of those mutants (but they are big part of fallout) but robots..? kidding me right? i think they should be even more rare.
