Title: Can't buy new base
Post by: Spektor on January 07, 2011, 08:09:05 am: I don't know if it's a bug or what, so I'm posting it here.
Me and my friends wanted to buy a new base for our faction.
Our characters resigned from our last base and went to JunkTown to get a new one.
The problem is - we can't buy a new base - the trapper always says that someone is already a member of another faction.
After trying for about 2 hours with different characters, we made new alts and tried to buy a base with them - same thing - Some one is already a member of another faction!
Same thing when we tried to buy a base in Necropolis(the quest is finished).
If we are doing something wrong - tell me please - What is it???

No that's not it.
We don't even get to the part when we have to enter the new name.
Again tried with new alts - doesn't work. :(((

Perhaps somebody could tell if they had any problems with buying bases or it just went ok.
This way i'll at least know that it's just our personal bug.

maybe just there are not the free names.
by the way, in an order to buy a base personages must be no less than a 6 level

Thats not true. Level one characters can buy bases.

On wiki it is stated that its 2 or 3. I found on forum that it depends on which trapper are you talking to. So, can someone give me specific number? How many people do I need to buy base from trapper i Redding? Me + 2 people in group? Me + 3 people in group?

PS. Does bonus Charisma from drinking beer can increase my maximum group size?
