Title: Changelog 25/01/2010
Post by: Bartosz on January 25, 2010, 12:35:25 am
FIXES:
- Brahmins in encounter have all the same description now.
- Some encounter critters are not hostile now (brahmins). Report more of them which should not.
- Fixed reward-bug (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=1135.0) with Maida Buckner.
- Rooms items are safe when the map is being regenerated (unless player opened the container and regen happen soon after it (before container got closed))

SMALL FEATURES:
- Changed image of town preview to something more obvious.
- Ability to loot unconcious (be it knock out, or hp below 0) critters by using Steal skill (safe).

CHANGES (WIP):
- Decreased traders barter skill (by 50 points).
- Items in rooms are not gone if rent ends (rent another room, the items will be there).
- When you rent a room, you respawn there.
- Adjusted hotels' room prices: 100 caps in unguarded towns, 200 caps in guarded towns. Per 3 real time days (remember you can pay up to 2 rents ahead)
- Items being held at traders for long time (depending on their type, max 3 real time days), get turned into caps. Will get turned into other (more usefull) stuff later, to help traders one more time.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Run updater to gain new *.dat file.

You can rent rooms in the Hub's bar (Maltese Falcon). Talk to the bartender, a woman.

Previously items stored in your room's container where stored 'physically' in that container. That means if map got reloaded, *puf* they were gone.

Now they're stored in secret container in secret map that never gets reloaded, and are transferred to your container when you open it. And transferred back when container got closed. And when they're in that hidden map, they're 100% safe.

And the side effect of it, is that if you rent room in some other place, your items are still there.

I have just a little question about room container, I post here because you were talking about that, but is it normal that San Francisco rooms have no container ?
