There is a large group of people camping the entrances to NCR killing anyone who enters without armor. I saw them yelling "Kill all the bluesuit zombies!" and such. This is a really bad way to keep new players who spawn near NCR that just started the game and have no armor. You have really no time to react and they kill you the second you enter and notice you have no armor on. They aren't getting killed by guards because they are idolized by NCR. This is extremely unfair to new, fresh players. Just wanted to put this out there.

Wasteland Is Harsh.
Oh, and I wonder if hotkeys/aimbots/scripts are being used.
Could be just really fast clickers.

Sometimes you have to draw a line between the wasteland "harshness" and maintaining fun and a playerbase. Put it like this, you just downloaded FOnline, made your character then spawned. Leave your cave or whatever and get on the world map. The first town revealed to you is Shady Sands, so you go over and enter and greeted with the lasers of 4 guys sitting at the entrance with energy weapons and gun you down because you don't have armor and are a "bluesuit". First impressions are important and stick to the person.

edit: So these PKs only shoot blue suits? Interesting ethics to play by I will show up with a lvl 1 in junk metal armor.

Can't get to the bank when they camp the entrances.

1) If they are killing because they are Idolized, then they aren't protected! Enter at Vortis and snipe them with AK or something long ranged that doesn't leave trails, you'll see that it's really fun.
2) Buy a jacket.
3) Buy a jacket, get minigun, then come to one of them, say "Muahahaha!", put off jacket, so you'll look like a bluesuiter, then get minigun from 2nd hand to main hand and burst them. (If they are too fast or you aren't fast enough, then you can skip putting off jacket, but in bluesuit it'll be more funnier).

Where are all these idolized PKs in NCR? I go on my ghoul RP character and only meet some slackjaw bluesuit with a grease gun trying to act hard ass asking everyone if he should burst me.

I love this game because of its harshness but something like this will simply end up in no new players as a result you'll have fun with the "wasteland is harsh" bullshit alone
They should just remove completely the idolized bullshit

How did those guys even get so much karma?.. Although I had an armor and they didn't shoot me, I realized that since they are idolized they can easily wipe everybody out just for fun. NCR is a guarded and safe town u say :-\

I say two people, Floodnik and SchwartzDC.
No other players helped us with clearing bluesuits.
There were some other idolized killing as they wished coming from time to time, but only we were "roleplaying" in this way.
Ah, also Schwartz fucked up, cuz he killed some armored people. Sorry, guys, I couldn't stop him.

yeah i walked in with 250 hp and and the stonewall perk as a bluesuit. took a while for me to die. it was entertaining ;D

I only see diplomatic figures abusing the people for their own advantage and that happens all the time in NCR :D.

I'm pretty much sure those nerfs were not related to newbies at all.
If you score 100 crit instead of 200 crit, you will still have almost guaranted kill on any newbie.
However it changes game for high-level and gear pvp, where original weapons, stats and items were balanced with power armors and singleplayer nature of game, they had to do something, and I don't think they're done yet.
I'm sure there was good deal amount of players enyoing blues being shot ( as there were definetly enough of players who did not like it ), but if no action is taken it will possibly only result in daily griefing and in better cases gang fights.

My personal feelings dont matter there. Well, if someone declared a war and attacks me everytime he comes to NCR, then we fight, though.

Perhaps if critcal hit tables were altered to J.E's dogma, combat would be more interesting and instead of "POINT N' CLICK PRO SKILLZ"
I mean to all those badass raiders that think clicking on someones' online persona involves any sort of skill and grief on the receving party must be as delusioned as any anyone in real life thinking small arms takes any skill to use.

So, VSB became common PKs. Before, they were so called "Anti-PKs" - I agree that's being a PK too, just doing it WITH STYLE. I was even with an alliance with them. And now they are nothing else than just another Garlic Soldiers.
That's what my freshly made opinion is. Yesterday, I under the nick of "Yomomma" was standing in Broken Hills with my shiny combat knife. Suddenly, a bunch of people in purple robes being lead by Nixon appeared. They started bursting everyone with their assault rifles(serieously, are you joking or what?). After one burst I told them "don't shoot me, I take no sides". After second burst I even desperately said that I will vote Nixon. After 3rd burst my reaction was "-.-". Fuck them, I ran away. They became my enemies and I was fighting them later on.
VSB, if you still are "Anti-PK", prove me that I am wrong. Why shouldn't I count you as a common PK team, like Garlic Soldiers or Rogues(though they are not shooting everyone like mad in GS style)?
