Title: Changelog 19/12/2010

FIXES:
- Car trunks.
- Car locations no longer forgotten on death, but see extra note.
- Pipboy statistics.
- TC, as usual.
- Minor stuff.

FEATURES:
- Changed admission process for the Brotherhood of Steel, added new quests that allow the player to advance in (now lowest) ranks and score "faction points" supposed to act as a currency inside the faction. Work on BoS is underway, similar thing is planned for other big factions. Talk with guards at NCR, SF and Den outposts about the quests.
- Quest locations default combat mode now corresponds to the player's own mode.

EXTRA NOTES:
- Cars that won't be moved into worldmap at least once since this update will be deleted within a week.

Developer uses update on Fun...           ...It's Super Effective!



Whenever something gets nerfed then its was most likely ruining games balance. And since the only legal or proper way how to get from A to B is to craft your way there, then any shortcut between A and B is considered as imbalanced and unwanted ergo it gets nerfed. But honestly those shortcuts are the fun part of this game and you are killing them on purpose with every single update you make...  ::)

Did it ever cross your mind that this is just a bug? (It is.) I'd recommend to read the forum a bit before going full scale rage on something. ;)
And to the rest, it has been said often times that no one is forced to play this game if one doesn't like the way it gets developed..

More to add - since sdk is released you can create server in way you want. Then maybe its best time to start doing something creative?

This looks like a nice update, especially with BoS faction update.
It looks like a nice start for more faction related things and roleplay.
Hopefully I get a few days off the next 2 weeks and check it out.

So that's why one of the two guards (the one who made BoS recruitment possible) at the entrance of Lost Hills bunker recently disappeared?

You don't need to test things, everything is always worse! ;)

Of course, allowing people to obtain virtually infinite rockets or other high end ammo at very low risk was/is very bad. Its pretty unbelievable that anyone could be expecting that it wouldn't be fixed at some point.

It's indeed a good quest.
Nice reactions from the npc's, you get to choose your reward and you're forced to travel a big part of the map.
