I want to understand game mechanics, how luck does affect success of stealing, lockpicking and repair ?

I have a 6 LK thief, it fails from time to time.

I also have a repair guy, it has 1 or 2 LK and although some say it will cause more failures, I can hardly notice a difference from my pre-wipe 6 LK build.

Lockpicking I don't know about.

"Luck affects a little bit of everything" is what a developer once said... but apparently that doesn't include Repair, as it was said that Repair isn't affected by Luck. The actually different percentages of how Luck affects something like Steal are unknown to players.

Thanks for replies.

Tested out with my 1 LK thief lock-pick repair build.
I can say all skills work acceptable, however I cannot compare it to 10 LK

Luck doesn't affect Repair, at least not in noticable way.

180% repair skill + 1 LK, tested on different stuff - failures are quite random, but rare.
