Title: Delete books from 2238.
Post by: runboy93 on December 14, 2010, 02:06:06 am
Books are not anymore needed for crafting stuff and make them totally useless.
Not maybe totally delete, but atleast from Profession trainers and correct wiki pages.

Agree with me?

and correct wiki pages.

You can correct them yourself.

Books are in crafting tables in wiki and it's AH8 (or whatever it was) job to clean them.

And this is taken from welcome page.

Remember not to edit AHS-9 templates (tables in weapons articles, for example)

We at Vault City have already opted without the need for books.  ::)
Also why are books no longer needed for crafting?  What logical argument favors for this?

I guess they now suppose that, if your character has learnt about crafting a certain kind of items, we doen't need any book about it to craft. He just knows about it.

Yeah it's a lot to do with making crafting less of a hassle and a drain on your character's stats and skills. There was a discussion about using them like magazines in NV where they give you a temporary boost, which seems logical.

Yeah no problem anymore with wiki tables.
I change them by myself.
