It was very unknown to me during the time of getting Citizenship to Vault City that I was joining a faction. I joined by convincing the guard that I should be granted citizenship. They should either make the process much harder, or they should make it much more known, for I had to leave as some friends and I were making our own faction. Therefore, I am now hated and killed by almost anyone by any town I pass by. What makes it worst is that I have to join the enclave later in the game in order to get my Energy Profession 3. This is another thing I hate, the devs should really make another way to acquire energy profession 3 than having to join the enclave and get hated by EVERYONE.

By the way, it is not necessary to became a member of your mates faction. You can be a friend of the faction. the only thing you lose - terminal access.
As for reputation drop, don't worry in some time your rep increase up to -200 automatically
P.S. Btw I want to complete our armor deal when I'll be in the game.
