It sometimes very hard to get hides from wasteland (mostly due of PKs)

When I need hides, i just go around Modoc and farm 20 in 10 minutes. Never met a PK yet.

Already made kind of the same suggestion. You say the problem are PK, but you choose a Modoc (unguarded town) NPC to sell the hides? Not to mention the long walk...

Oh, oh, yeah forgot that in this new century we must all be relativistic when we speak.

I obviously mean the long walk from Shady Sands, also known as Noob California Republic, as this town (along with others like the Hub) gathers a lot of newbies.
