I don't think the whole 'struggle to get a tent' teaches new players anything other than 'you're fucked if you don't have a tent'. I think it will/has put a lot of players off as they spend their first few hours hunting and trying to get some gear together, and then someone randomly mows them down. They learn nothing from this, as there's no safe place to hide their gear.
That's all I got.

I'd rather like to see brahmin traders rewarding players with hides for "diligent work".
-
Some quest which completion gives 10 hides would be nice.
Maybe some part of complex but easy "tutorial" quest? ;)

I'd actually prefer some smaller wooden hut to be constructed from wood, but several things need to happen before that could be a possibility.
Players won't ever start with a tent though.

What if I want to play as a prostitute who has never been outside Reno and doesn't even have a need or knowledge how to construct a tent? How do you explain that?
Stop looking at this game through a prism of "ITAMZ". It deserves more than that.
What do you care about new players anyway, care about yourself.

what about new player start with 21 lv??? ;Dand bozer????

I vote 100% no. Sorry, but yeah.

Game should be hard.

I personally love the difficulty especially in the beginning of the game, but I agree with badger that it might appear to hard for beginners to start. I vote yes.
