As we know awareness is a good perk now and becomes quite usefull(unless somebody uses FOCD and is seeing hp bars over enemies heads.)
It is interesting how you can notice how many ammo your opponent has in his magazine clip, but you are unable to determine what limbs crippled he has. All the description says is: Injured. Hell that would be fine if you could get a list of crippled limbs after using binoculars on your target... But noo: you actually have to ask your enemy about his crippled body parts and hope he will be so kind to give you that info in a middle of a fight.
My suggestion is crucial I belive(Is it so hard to notice that a person has problems with using, for example one of his arm/have problems walking because of leg pain?). Make it possible to determine which limbs and bodyparts are crippled when your character has awareness.

Can't it be just global info available for everyone?
-
How about:
Without awareness: You get info about crippled limbs after using binoculars.
With awareness: you get a list of crippled limbs by hovering your mouse over the enemy.

It's goddamn hard to view someone with binoculars in rt combat, so this would only help in turn based.

I think it's even more usefull with FOCD, since enemies' hp is visible without you having to hover your mouse over the character?

if you take awareness at level 3, you cant take toughness or stonewall perk then.. it is compromise you do. instead of protection derivered from sterile SPECIAL statistic, it gives you a good info about your enemies. so i think no, dont give this info to all.
but i think awareness perk should be upgraded line on FOCD in TLA.. you see HP of every players, not those you check by mouse..

It's not compromise for those who can't pick toughness or stonewall.

Agreed. Clicking with mouse comes from the turn-based origin of fallout and is not suitable for occasionally fast-paced real time.

Yes it is hard- Thats exactly what would encourage people to take awareness in some cases instead of stonewall, toughness, Quick Recovery

Click, hold'n'drag was designed for turn-based, not our real time combat. So basically people should take awerness because of a feature that doesn't work correctly?

Nobody should have awareness. We shouldn´t be able to see other people's HPs.
We should ALL and ALWAYS be able to see these details:
-General condition (Unhurt, Almost dead, etc.)
-Crippled limbs and which one.
-Which KIND of weapon they are using (shotgun, rifle, spear, pistol, SMG, mingun, spear, knife) but not exactly which one unless we have 100+ skill points in the combat skill the actual weapon belongs to.
-Which kind of armor (jacket, leather, metal, combat) but not exactly which one (unless we have 100+ Repair? cause Repair is realted to the Armorer profession).
EDIT: I'd better make a new Suggestion with this.

maybe can be implemented by future new 3d animation, in order to see where the enemy is crippled just by how he is walking.

In order to notice information provided by Awareness yu have to take a close look at the person your inspecting, a good look. Running your mouse around at this person is a decent enough simulation of this.
