Read the launcher main page slowly, it will get you up and running you HAVE to run the updater and follow it's directions. Let me know when you might be online playing, I'd be willing to try and help out. I am not a PK'r however if I encounter a pkr and have the chance I do shoot them, but only them. So if you want to play this game just to cause others grief I can't help you.

....yeah ill be back, probley. beacuse the people who play it are alot nicer then i am (some of them) others deserve to be greeted by .45 full auto spray to the face on exit of vehicle at random hour of any given day...
on other note, really this game aint that bad.... but i often for real think "and this is not as fare out their as it might sound" that someone, is observing me, and has a kill switch, and launches some type of random death, being encounter or some npc. it just spoils game. i want a fair unfair match... being no damn admin stealthin around hookin me up with some type of not only slow until death time of travel, but barely escapeing, 10 x's, then dieing... without any hope of escape, at all. so, in this case, its best to just reframe from seting voodoo on the people responsible for my cyber misurey, and simpley find a beter ocupation... yes that just makes worlds of sence.. still this game is like... actuly tactis is wear its at.... but nevermind.

holy shit.... really traveling 2 squares should not take over 30 minuts. ever. at all. in anything refering to time traveling in game realivence.

i get a cow to take to other base with char with 89 fucking outdoors and ncr and fucking buttfuck junk scouts both instintly as i leave my tent rush me as soon as i enter map they shoot cow dead, and then i find out i had ca armer and other shit in cow and some FUCKING DICK WIPE comes up and kills my charicter.

not only that spawn 40 yards from a marader and sometimes it will just dicide it can shoot 50 to 60 yards away weather you see it or not. so k. o their.

i have never seen npc do that. they all just froze game for a few seconds, highlighted red simotanesly like they all got a command, and ran for my cow. in TB. it was a random encounter not evin a click out of my tent. sounds like you need much higher outdoorsman to avoid most if not all encounters, 100 outdoorsman is decent enough though if you dont want to throw in more skill points. that or if you can purchase a trapper slave off somebody (they have 90outdoorsman iirc, check wiki) and that will work over your lower outdoorsman skill while travelling on the worldmap. Or alternatively get a car or caravan (seems to avoid more encounters from what i've read but slow travel).

well it is supposed to be a hardcore game.
Sure people who played it from the start will have an advantage over others but you don't start this game and go killing supermutants, aliens, centaurs, floaters, BoS, enclave or other critters by yourself at level 1. You avoid these things much like you would avoid someone out in the wastes decked out with a minigun/rocket launcher but i suppose by then you would have died and gotten the whole "wasteland is harsh".
I suppose it would be easier if you went and joined a faction so you can travel around in a group (hopefully with somebody compentent in outdoorsman).
