Make NPC's stop targeting the player first all the time. None new player is able to run from them, and they annoy other gamers while they move from the respawn points. Encouters became slightly annoying that way.
Anyone else feeling the same way?

Nah, at last the encounters are more interesting. And 6 level character with 2x tough need to think when he want to win the fight, not just walk forward saying "resistance is futile". Newbies need to know Fallout mechanics, correctly created character has no problem with encounters. Of'coz sometimes you will lose. But not always.

You didn't understand what I wrote even. It's about the time when you return from a respawn point and find yourself in the middle of raider vs raider fight where you won't be able run. And when someone begins a game and gets killed for no reason, because he has respawned in the middle of a gang encouter, it will make him quit.
It's not about fighting encouters, lol.

Yeah, meeting centaurs fighting floaters and seeing both groups run after you is just silly.

I have too agree and can we revert back to true VS encounters?
Death is now a dice roll on the wm, sooner or later you will die form a swarm of enemies in one of those VS.VS.VS encounter and every single one is shooting you. Good example of this is the VC encounters, these guys have been beefed up and when you encounter 10vc patrol VS half dozen ghoul crazies they wipe 150hp of you in a singe turn. Also burning through 500 5mm in a single encounter just to survive is a shitty way to spend roughly 2 1/2 hours crafting time

erm.. So, if I understand, it's not the targeting NPC problem, just spawn bug. So there's a spawnpoint bug to be fixed, not the NPC targeting system which is more realistic and forces players to invest points into first aid and doctor skills.
Also, I see here a reputation bug, if "neutral" NPC's are shooting at player (of'coz if you have more than -2,5k karma (vilified) in VC for expamle). Not the NPC using VATS system.
