while creating a new char you can define the age of him/her. but as far as i know this doesnt change anything in game. so the age can have some advantages and disadvantages like in the real life.
for instance an older age can bring more skill points per level (age brings experience thing), better barter or repair skills and maybe even charisma. but it will reduce the speed while travelling in map and the carry weight... and a younger age could raise carry weight and map speed, and maybe a better healing rate, better melee or unarmed demage but it will reduce sp/level and barter skills. i am not sure if the current engine supports this change but it would bring new features to game and make char creating more interesting.

So all crafting alts will become old people...yay.

This is very interesting, but probably all would choose the youngest :)

I can already see this in the Close Suggestion section. Too much work.

Make something like a checkbox next to the age option "Make my skills age dependant", so if you want you could be younger, get pros and cons from it or not.

I could see it having a smaller affect on NPCs.
Instead you can gain bonuses to NPCs and dialogue options for the older age group.
Negatives
Again changed reactions and dialogue options to NPCs of a younger age group.
Try as I may, I cannot think of how age could effect anything else without it being stereotypical.

if you give advantages for some ages you will have: POWAH BUILDS
14 years old fighters and 65 years old crafters
there shoud be just some dialog options for diferent ages, but that is all
14 years old fighters and 65 years old crafters
youngsters will be uglier(CH1) than elders(CH 5+)
So all crafting alts will become old people...yay.
you are right
