everyone is saying how much there going to miss the game ending, loads of people have came back to came in last days because its going to end, why dont everyone pay the server bill, wipe the game , devs can ask people for ideas on how to make the game better, interduce it into game, and everyone start donateing again.
this way game wont go away :D

It's the conflict of ideas between the Devs and Players that caused this.
Hopefully one day a new community and new devs will find this and continue where this left off but til' then we wait.

I approached the staff of 2238 a while back on this question with recommendations for implementation, and the response was an unambiguous “No. Not gonna happen.” (A rather RUDE one, at that…)

Why people who played the game for 5 minutes always have a massive wall of suggestions on how to "fix" the game and complaints?

Oh… BTW… For those bitching about the suddenness of 2238’s demise… At least you had SOME sort of warning. Last time around, we didn’t.
