Title: New crafts

So i decided to make a new suggestion about crafting that will probably change server karma to better,more Pvp,more people and ofcourse more fun...
First about usual Adv. Workbenches...
They aren't special in anyway,the things that you usualy craft there can be already farmed or buyed from merchants so it is kinda useless...We need to make this more interesting,so there would be much more people who would be interested to craft there some HQ stuff and the most important.traps that will be waiting there and that will mean more PVP...fights for hq commponents or stuff,you want good gear? you will gona fight for it...I suggest to remove Adv. workbenches from Gun Runners and  from Toxic caves...Add some mutants to mariposa so people won't  craft better gear so easy...
If there would be only one adv. workbench (in mariposa) then more people will meet there...it will be much more interesting then now boring and dead...
About Sierra Army depot...now it is really useless loc. almost nobody went there,why no make it more interesting? add around this location encounters with sentry bots,give more hp to turrets in siera and most important,add something like an new workbench,something like Autmatic CNC plant like in TLA mk2... and that will bring alot attention i believe...here you will can craft the most HQ stuff that you can get in game by different ways...first ofcourse you will need BP and skill to use it perhaps some additonal tools too...
What there should be craftable? i believe that there should be craftable gears like PPK 12 Gauss pistol,bozar,vindicator,BA,CA Enclave,Solar Scorber,Pulse pistol,plasma torch,G11,turbo plasma,gatling laser and M72 gauss rifle.
I believe that this will bring more life to server,people would love to fight for stuff like these,now it is kinda boring and stereotype,waiting in ncr only until some TC or some noobs in Reno apear...this would give reason to players to be more active! There would be many fights in both locations (mariposa and sierra) just to get those HQ stuff...Blueprints for these HQ gear should be obtain from hard quests,maybe something like Gun Runners quest...the most HQ BP's like M72 and Vindicator could be found in special encounters...i know you might think that it will be OP or what but really devs. look how many gausses vindi's and bozar's are in game and who actauly use them in pvp or so? they are just lying in lockers until WIPe cause people are so afraid to lost it,most of them are almost impossible or really hard to get or nobody know anything about them and that isn't gopd,if i would have gun like those i would enjoy it,i would even kill theifs in NCR with it,still better then just having it in locker forever,so i think this changes are really  important otherwise those weapons and locations are really pointless...make this server less stereotype,i don't want you to reply all the stuff from TLA,i just want see new things and reasons why fight and enjoy this game...give it at least chance.

How about schematics for some HQ stuff? you do some quests for perhaps Enclave and they will give you (http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/images/f/f7/Vertipln.gif) for Gatling laser,then you gona need reources and later u can craft it in sierra...

Some EW would need more modules cause of it high tech level... (http://fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/images/1/12/Blue_Memory_Module.gif)  you can get this from BOS or Enclave,if you would do quests for them... All these gears need more components to get it craft so it would be hard to obtain it and then risk it all in one location...
Also there could be encounters like a car in wasteland where you can get FCC but instead of car there would be some pre war old tech lab center or smothing like that,just some remmants of it where you would have same chance to get modules,components and other stuff,like in encounter with car and FCC...
ALSO the FOOTLOCKERS would be finaly more interesting,instead of those boring shit like 3 caps or leather jackets there should be some Components! It will be much better i believe...

4.7 caseless  ammo could be crafted in sierra too,and the schematic will be in same body in same spacial special enco with vindicator schematic.

Most of the components you can get only from footlockers where will be only max 1-2 pieces.So you will need a long time to get craft some HQ gear.Also i bet there would be more interesting auctions and traders with components and HQ stuff...

Yes, a lot of people just store them in fear of losing them currently. Well, some Gauss pistols are certainly used in pvp, but the vindi is surely much rarer. But the point I was making was that adding these weapons in their current state as readily available and grind-able would just make people feel they have to take the time to craft these to be able to compete, and other types wouldn't be used. Also, there's simply no fun for majority of the population to have to grind footlockers to get materials.

Everything in this game is so easy, you can obtain tons of sets of hi-tier items in just some days, and be able to PVP, only thing you need is brain.

Ok , this suggestion, is nice. But like always, GM's wil ignore it.

Its not the goal to do the craft harder, but to have an other way to have vindicators, gauss pistol, etc...

Because all PVP player is here bored to always plays with avenger, or gatlings, and gauss are too much rare.

I think that reintruducing high tier weaponry isn`t good idea. I like it as it now - elite weapon being really elite, being considred as a real treasure, something that is worth a lot.

We shoud balance existing weapon, add special perk to each of them, make them work in their own unique way, add some few but thinked through weapon for example grenade launcher.

We shoud make sure that each weapon is obtainable in several ways, for example Gatling shoud be obtainable in other place than Enclave, it shoud be reward as some high tier quest.

We shoud make thievery balanced, not totally useless but semi usefull. We shoud balance caps gaining by either nerfing slavers or by boosting gecko skin hunting or other activietes.

Caves need to be redone, solid knowledge of them shoud be added, clear information how to get Alien Blaster woud be nice.

Cats Paw and Green condoms shoud spawn in shops(most important part of this post!)

I could get past the dogs at level 1. In fact, I did..... And got pke'd in the back while fucking with the computer.

Strangely, he didn't search my body. (I forgot his name a long time ago, didn't even really care at the time.)

You can get into the gunrunners factory. I am working on getting my karma back up to 900 as we speak.
Good for you. I can't. By the time I can run another qquest for them, I've already lost the karma I had with them.

You aren`t forced to do delivery quest. If you`re afraid of being PK`ed just use Serra - nobody craft there besides one person i know.

Plus you`ll get some ammo from turrets as a bonus.

Long range weapons motherlover, even heard of them?
Turrents range is shorter than Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle or Laser Rifle.

First you`re loggin in with one alt kill the turrets, then log in on crafter run to the workbench then exit quickly before respawn. If you`re planned your crafter good you can do it with even one character.

Risk is marginal and time consumption is minimal too.

So you are able to do it like once per 2-3 days?
Yet, xsarq is right, Sierra is pretty easy place for any long ranged weapon. Actually it's even easy to confront those turrets. They do weak damage.

How long do you play per day?
You need not much more than 2 hours of playtime a day. First action after login: Do the gunrunner package, then do whatever else you do and then last action after 2 hours do the gunrunner package again. It will be a while until you have the 1000 rep, but it will certainly not go down. Once you reached the 1000 you can do the quest once a day – maybe after an extensive crafting session – and you're good.
Yes, it's a chore, but you'll have the safest adv wb available. Safest does not mean 100% safe of course *cough*thieves*cough* ;)

As for Mariposa:
My experience there so far is that 90% of the time there's no one else, soo i guess you had just bad luck getting killed.

Sierra:
I don't like how it has been hidden. If it wasn't on the wiki, who the f would have the idea to talk to npcs (hermit) in random encounters???

How long do you play per day?
You need not much more than 2 hours of playtime a day. First action after login: Do the gunrunner package, then do whatever else you do and then last action after 2 hours do the gunrunner package again. It will be a while until you have the 1000 rep, but it will certainly not go down. Once you reached the 1000 you can do the quest once a day – maybe after an extensive crafting session – and you're good.
Yes, it's a chore, but you'll have the safest adv wb available. Safest does not mean 100% safe of course *cough*thieves*cough* ;)

As for Mariposa:
My experience there so far is that 90% of the time there's no one else, soo i guess you had just bad luck getting killed.

About sierra,why not? it is even in wiki that you need to talk to hermit that is around...nothing else nothing less...

It's strange that people are having trouble finding it..... no one ever told me where it was..... a glitch? Maybe I should chsnge my name to vanellopr von schweetz...... ???

Interval between doing Gunrunners delivery is probably closer to 1 hour than 2. I didn`t tested that yet but quest information on wiki requires huge overhaul.(for now i`m focusing on traders will do too quests too but they need to wait.)

I just think it is kind of a lost location due to its covert nature. Not all players inform themselves thoroughly on wiki or forum, and a lot don't bother getting the location at all I think. Apart from the advanced workbench and 5 or 6 turrets to shoot, what else does it offer?
Oh yeah and some robots inside..
