The Amboy Dukes was first a gather of french players on FOnline : The Life After. After a lot of updates, the 2238 mod became more playable and the team do the move to this new server (Open Beta 3 : before and after wipe 1 and 2).
We are a democratic organisation. We try to find a consensus on everything we make.

Here are the rules :
1. PvP First.
2. Work at school.
3. Praise Rat God.
4. Speak French (or not).
5. Don't be afraid to rape the cajun's base after 3 a.m.
6. Say "Hi Izual !" each time you enter our base. (because he's watching you, always)
7. If someone is claiming his/her stuff back after being killed, kill him/her back.
8. Wasteland is harsh.
9. Don't care about diplomatic stuff. Speakers are loosers.
10. Share political view of Ted Nugent.

The Amboy Dukes's recruitments are off.

Our official spy also known as Alfa, after infiltrated Cajuns (largest french faction) for one month. Allow us to rape their base and we were excluded from French Community.
After that we taked part in the big conflic by joining The Dark Alliance.
Our official spy also known as Alfa, raped Cajuns again on TLA.
We own the fight club.
Taking part in the conflic between Broken Hill and Reeding by joining The North Bandits.
Finaly owned the Cajuns by raping them and claiming their faction name.
After wipe we allied The Outcast and The Black Flags and created the "fake " North Alliance.
We won gecko with the North Alliance untill everybody reach 500 and pvp get boring !
Actualy most of our members are off and we moved on other games like Dayz Mod for Arma II or Diablo III, waiting for next update...

All the same, what's troubblesome here is that amboys and whoever supports that activity think it's somehow cool to uphold unsportsmanship behaviour. Taunting other gangs and players especially here at forums could be regarded very immature.

In fact couldnt you handle the fact that some guys just like to have enemy they try to take down? Its a goal! Woah! Its still infinitly better than doing nothing remaining okay for everyone. They do something in this game. And base names mechanic stealing is representation of realistic wasteland gang issues, somehow.

We won't explain to you how to steal a faction name, you will have to figure it out yourself or ask a GM about it.

Names are just names, everyone can take them if they are unused. That's why nothing "illegal" has been made here, it may be not good "sportsmanship" but who cares, it's still a beta and you are putting too much worries behind a name.

We both know that this "beta" stage is the stage it will stay for a long time, if not forever. Most of the players treats it as a final stage and some try to build some reputation, they arent just anonymous robot-like testers. And the name and reputation is the only thing that you can obtain and not lose it when some random guy kills you. Its not about "harsh wasteland", since it has nothing to do with wasteland its the same as when some guy trolls here or scam through forum.
I hope that some team members will take that into consideration and after the wipe, when the names of well known gangs will be taken by some lulz kids, such idiotic behaviour will be punished.

There is kind of an "account" system planned, but only for registrating characters nicknames ingame.
As for the thread, the point still stands. We don't have the time nor the will to check all the gang bases/people playing the game just to see if someone took the name of a "well known gang" without "permission".

Naossano, it is because we havent talk to the computer of the Cajuns base since a lot of time and there was no member or leader in. So they have just buy a base and take the name, it's simple.

The Amboy Dukes faction is proud to release publicly the "Amboy Tactical Tool".
It plays audio files based on selected text in the in-game console. Triggered events are written inside the tool (over the fabulous Amboy Dukes logo!)
But there is more! It also starts automatically fraps when guns are in action. No more (nice, uber, kurwa) kills without its glorious memory in video.

Without further delay, an explanation of the settings that you can change to meet your style:
In the audio section, put the text to trigger on and the audio file to play:

In the Fraps section, you give the text which launches fraps, and the sound to indicate it :

WARNING : only the default start/stop command (which is F9) is supported for fraps, this will change in the future !
To make it work you just need to launch it and push the "start" button once the game is running. To test if it's working just type one of your pattern in the console (like test, or wilks or anything else).
To refresh the server info image, just click on it.

I think he is raging about the fact that we own the "Cajuns" faction name as one of our base.
And the fun part is not that we use it, it's that they weren't using it themself, and still they are not happy about losing it.
If you really don't care then you would not have post here, so what we say carry enough weight to make you angry :D
BTW I don't know your faction or anything about you so I don't understand your hatred toward us (but I love it).

Names are just Names, nothing changes if you are under the name "XY" or rather "ABC", especially, when if mentionend, the name in question wasn't even used at all. But that's another topic and doesnt fit in this thread.

Actualy some ideas of one alt crusade sounds good other looks shit, but why not, don't care what will change but just make something ! (for gameplay not for engine)
