Thanks for giving back to the community, every little piece matters :)
-
Do you still work on it?
-
Nope, it's dead. I won't bother myself on touching it again unsless I'll get myself some skilful programmist to help. Shame it stayed for over 2 years untouched with minor changes I've done from what I remembered as broken.
-
Catch it while it's still hot 8)

First repository got lock down by hosting due to extensive size and not long after coder responsible for stuff in repository shown up to say he did not agree on releasing it ::). Try leeching it off people who already downloaded it, I only try to be straight with him, made a mistake releasing it on my own.
-
Damn. I can't use it then...thanks anyway
-
Gotta protect those dead projects from anyone doing anything with them...

I wouldn't wish fodev onto my worst enemies. Good work keeping people safe.
-
Hm? I think you misunderstood me. I tried to be sarcastic, fodev has nothing to do with desert europe.
-
Once again jovanka ruined everything. Just like in the good old days. :p
-
Maybe someone already took the Desert europe source and can spare with me? haha
-
Koniko you are not main desert europe dev? Who is and why did it get down?
-
How to download server?

I'm the main developer of closed-sourced fork & this repo that I shared with community which was messy anyway. I just respect opinion of original main developer and follow his instruction to not release it. Anyway from what I recall people who REALLY wanted it already got it. As I said SDK wasn't ready to be released it's similar to situation with 2238 first session SDK & Rotators.
-
I wonder if you can tell us who is this "main developer".

Xenom, Ras or Galachad.

Xenom, Ras or Galachad.
Tell me what FOnline 3 means... ;D It looks interesting...
-
I actually have it since a while now... scrapped some code pieces...
Wasn't easy to have it working... you need python... and it's freaking buggy...
Server crashes himself...
But it's not bad at all.
Thx to have released it at least for a moment...
-
I still have the orginal data from 2012. When only Galachad and Ras worked on it.
-
someone tell if it is in development or not
-
It was. SEGA developed FODE in 2016/2017 and Xenom, Gal, Ras, some other guys tried reactivate it 2-3 months ago. They had plans for this project but nothing has been done.
-
Is any body have this SDK? Please contact me.

Hi, i'm back on my project Fonline last breath and wanted to ask: can i use ressources of desert europe? ( all my project will be open source in case i stop again)
-
I think yes because this project is dead and most of resources are used in other fonline servers.
-
Gonna be updated soon
-
anyone still have the client?
-
Here you have https://files.fonline-aftertimes.net/other_sources/DesertEurope/
-
thanks, these old dead projects are sometimes a treasure trove of resources
