These forums come with a wonderful feature that lets you click on the direct link to the topic, and view the most recent post. You should definitely try this. It may save that pesky scroll finger from continued damage.

nice screens tyrystor, but i would like to ask not only you tyry abut all of current players to stop camping spawns, i have seen many intentional rampages at the exit grids (by KILLNDIE and his group, by Kelin and his company also as other polish group which iam not sure who is)

I have seen like 3 situations where 2 hostile teams were camping both spawn intentionaly killing bluesuits. Once when i was inside town, there was also third team in supply building, so definetely there was not lack of enemy targets...

In those situations it looked like all of you guys were there just to kill bluesuits not to PVP even if GT was full of enemy players, this makes me sad and prevents any kind of fun for individuals.

Now there is a village with outfitters and guards outside the ghost town, and a 3rd entrance.

Well green thanks but i dont spawn kill,i just were killing those who did same to me...sorry when i did that to you,i wasnt realising it...
Btw i dont have any group,as you can see in most screens i play alone,sometimes some of my allies apear...

I've been offline for more than 6 hours you should rather blame "his mates" instead. Btw if there are two spawns and one is camped, what exactly prevents you from going through the other one?

I am not a PvP guy, my PvP experience is very limited as participating on some TCs in the past or some hinkley fights, but I last few days I was doing some PvP in Ghost town.
I would like to share my feeling about PvP.

First of all, IMO the only PvP suitable class is BG tank and all other classes are just supporters, but can't really compare 1vs1 to BigGunner. As you can also see on pictures lots of BG Avenger carriers who will 1 shot you easily. I like to play SG, but seriously, there is not really chance of surviving in PvP fight as SG class.

Second of all, and that was the most frustrating experience for me, is the SuperStimpak key binding. Even if I could snipe the enemy player, or plasma grenade him to death, he would just use key to use SS and there was no chance for me to kill him (and survive). This is like the most shitty thing in these fights as there is no chance to kill someone who is instantly spawning SS key (unless you have BG class who can 1 shot him).

I am no saying that my builds were perfect, but I think that even non-perfect build should be able to compete with anyone, but that is not really the case in 2238. So for now, I have no motivation to continue PvP in Ghost Town. ;D

Just wanted to share my opinion as the opinion of the guy who is kinda new to PvP. Cheers. ;)

Mike its just partial truth, Also SG cripplers,snipers,sneakers are very viable builds. I played Tank pistolero crippler with finesse and all Crit perks. This build was so far most fun build i have tried, even if i died in 60% fights, it was so much fun to get lucky rolls in 1v1/1v2 fights, when i crippled 2x/3x in row(mostly arms and legs).

Also gauss snipers/crit dealers are one of the most effective builds in current PA/APA era, becouse head is the last vunlerable body part of APA wearers.

Superstimming just prolongs fights, enables advanced tactics with difrent roles(tanks/damage dealers), so prolonging fights is same as prolonging fun period of the game cycle IMHO.

I think NOW, with gauss guns, pulse rifles and vindicators, we have some balance. Of course, gauss cant rush a BG, snipers must shoot at max range. Pulse Rifle can kill a BG in the first shot if you are lucky. The main thing here is that the only class which can be full tank (with all anti-crit perks) is BG (or gatling laser), so they are the worse thing you can find playing a crit build. Anyway when i get into ghostown i usually play a melee, and usually defeat enemies 1vs1 (They usually run away afraid of losing their apa... or just run while their friends come to kill me)

Actually a melee guy with plasma torch is something I personally find overpowered, saw one guy killing like 6 enemies with his plasma torch (one hit - one dead) and the worst thing is that you barely hit him from one or two hexes due to in your face! perk and even snipers have problems because these builds have stonewall so yea, if you want to be extremely effective and be rambo at the same time, go for plasma torch I guess.

Plasma torch is a little OP, but its the only good thing melee has. The 90% of the time im using supersledge and its damage sucks. Gauss pistols can shoot from 50 hex and get better damage. My range is 2 hex, my damage is lower and people can (and will) run away. Plasma torch is the only viable melee weapon.

And yes, we have inda face perk. 50% failing, so... you have a 50% chances to survive, cos you dont usually survive a 1hex BG burst

I admit I am noob in PvP and I don't even have SS keybind, because to me it looks like some form of a cheating to be able to continuosly heal yourself up with some drugs. What is the point of spending 10 AP to double shot someone to head, when he then spends 6 AP for using 2xSS to heal himself up to his max health.

Well minigunero is also a close combat build yet it has no in your face bullshit and you need to get to one hex (have you ever tried one-hexing? I guess not because just clicking on enemy is so much easier).

1vs1 situation is quite rare in the real pvp what I was trying to say is that even a tank is killable and problem with tank is that if you know how to play against tank, such build shouldn't be able to kill you even if you are just a sniper. Tanks are good for defense but suck at offense.

What do u expect? Noobs cant do anything by their own so they need to group up. Ghost Town was amazing the first days, everyone at their own, maybe teamed up with another guy. So it was like many little battles, funny. Now you can only find 5+ groups who run like hungry hounds behind you. We have to understand them, they dont have enought brain to try something fair, they would lose.

I have made today at least 60 actions (most of them missions failed :), most of them solo, dieing near grid, quick regearing, eating cookies on the way from 7 families to GT and finally spawning without preview. Repeating till i used all options for fight ...  So i took one nice picture of my character table in meantime.

Dope has a crazy build and i almost never seen him die before killing at least a couple of players in a row..that-s very good.I played a little while against him just for fun and my kill ratio was one on five from his side.So that's for me means a very skillful opponent.

The 95% of the time I wasnt wearing APA, in the first week, the 80% of the time i was alone. The second week i teamed up with some guys, but just played with them if i saw them ingame. About the SS, healing yourself is wrong now? I played with sniper build, If I dont heal myself im dead in the 2nd burst, anyway I manage to kill your BG sneaker more times than u killed me.

i played only in the last 4 days of this game and most the time i was playing alone and rarely  with EdWood but this is it. cookies, have you heard of them? yeah, right. sniper build with 240HP. seems legit.

Sniper or not, does it matter? I was quick using SS, thats all. The fact is you couldnt use SS due to your kind of character and seeing people using them annoyed you. Dont try to be cool saying you were alone, I saw you playing with more people. I remember once you were allied with Killndie and another guy to kill me in the bunker (I was alone with APA and vindicator)

This is me defending the bunker with mines and a gauss pistol, 3 guys spent more than 1 hour to kill me, 2 of them with combat builds and another one with a traps builds to make a safe path, the best thing was that when they finally manage to kill me, I returned to the bunker and killed them 1vs3 (Me with APA, and they with APA,PAandCA). I enjoyed those mines.

yes the fact that i was bursting people with max BRD character for 100HP (or less) and 6AP usage while SS healing took only 3 AP annoyed me.

Well, enemies healing themselves wasnt a problem to me because i didnt have to hide like a rat each time I shot. You can try 1 hex them when, you can try to knock back them, cripple them, etc. Things you couldnt do with your shitty character and your shitty combat style.
