Bruce Springsteen means a lot to me. It is not even the music I would listen to usually, but the concert I just posted his song from was important to the country I briefly lived in for a few months to gain freedom from socialism. :) Later, I learned from this song by my father who used to have the "born in the USA" LP on Music Cassete (haha) in our cars radio, I also heard it almost every day when my father drove me to school. Much later I actually learned to read english 6-7 years ago and learned the actual meaning of the song. "The Boss" will always stay a true here in my musical book. :)

Ok, i'll start with some rap song. I know, that the majority of wasteland isn't into this. Thats´s why i want to present some real classic piece of this art of "Beats' n Rhymes" (as the title says).

Here you have 3 guys combined, who gained influence a lot within the 90s. KRSONE (an orphan, who lived on the streets till he found some access to the library and teached himself everything he needed to know), Rakim (famous urban legend), NAS (one of the most underestimated guys in the whole biz imo) and ofc DJ Premier (great beats).

EDIT: @Fettel: This "Champions" song is pretty good :) and...err those finnish guys (i guess they are at least) have to work a bit on their beats still but all in all (although i cant understand what the song is about ofc) it sounds ok.

Rather new discovery for me, I was never into Pink Floyd's old stuff (Pre-Atom Heart Mother), but I read about this song a bit, and tried listening to it, and it hit me instantly.

About the song itself, it's pure space rock with some egyptian-ish riffs here, there and there. Great song, one of the best songs from the 60's time of Pink Floyd.

I really like Finnish music, so I'd like to share with ya one song today. It's called "Laalavat jouset" performed by the band Verjnuarmu with it's awesome vocal of band frontman Puijon Perkele. The first minute reminds me angry Nexxos in the ban-frenzy. ;-)

I also listen to TONS of other videogame soundtracks while playing games. For this game in particular I tend to listen to Fallout 3 soundtrack and NV as well as F1 and 2. While lurking forums I clicked one of Surfs links in his sig I think to a few tracks he made and they fit game very nicely.

What starts out as a cool black metal song with good riffs, turns out into something else. Vocals sure are different from many others.

It's a good song, one of the rare black metal songs with somewhat enjoyable riffs.

Very recent find, fell in love with this song at that very instant. The riffs are awesome. It's a different song from their earlier albums, but the new approach is quite great. Only thing not fitting that well into the song, are the vocals. Aside from that, great and good song. 8/10.

Both artworks and music are wonderful, depressive, dark and apocalyptic. Also the Finnish lyrics make it sounds like an ancient prayer of the person lost in his own madness, trying to find a forgiveness in this what he done.

Turmion is often compared to Raimmstein. IMHO Turmion is a bit better. It's more aggressive, dynamic and it's in Finnish which sounds so badass in the industrial metal.

It's a remix of the original soundtrack of the Command&Conquer Red Alert 2. Frank Klepacki composed the song and seems like another remix of it. Nice soundtrack and all, but old.
