YAY! My first Base-Rape ;D
Who steals safes?
Bankers that are bankrupt?
Or maybe one of these players, which were allowed in the base, where at some point this night 6 safes and 2 other containers were stolen:
Pabidabowi
Shoutaxeror
NamelessOne
Joachim
Low Fat
SideSwipe
Nurse Renard
The Safes were all locked but had only a placeholder item in them - so no loot sucker.
One Locker in the depot also was picked but strangely contents were not taken.
Weirdest I find the theft of the random junk footlocker, also nothing valuable.
Bases are all closed down for now until this is resolved.
From list of other possibilities I think I can eliminate a simple follower from NCR, unless he got immense CW to get all them safes in one go and is lockpicker with at least 180%.
There come only 2 possible explanations to mind for this senseless crime
1. Somebody thinks he can piss me off by stealing some containers. - I wouldn't leave them in that base then, be assured.
2. I took an unlocked buggy in that same depot by accident, which i later recognized as not my own because of the trunk contents.
About 500 caps, some low level stuff and a 223er pistol BP. I realized that i took the wrong car long time after i took it, so whomever it belongs to - I'm sorry for that, but if the safe stealing was your answer to that, thats just poor :P

What makes u say that? Did Nurse do similar things before? Hes allowed in my bases the second longest time of all people on that list and there were never any probs.
I personally mostly suspect Padidabowi and Joachim, since I didn't do so much with them, they're both new and i don't know them so much.
I just helped them get started in game and let them use my bases as parking space.
I never keep valuable stuff in those bases, they're mere gathering, regrouping or temporary farmed loot parking spaces, nothing more.
Since the new tents they have become rather obsolete for me personally.
I'm just wondering if that person seriously thinks he is bigtime raper now ;D
I can imagine how it went:

The car that was not mine is also back with its owner, so that wasn't the reason.

K. whatever i guess this wont clear up. I wait a few days if someone speaks up, and then screw it. Its just safes.
We could transform this thread into topic "What would you do with a stolen safe" or so ;D

Put aside that the safes were standing somewhere else in depot, a very convincing screenshot :) But I dont think you'd make the efford to move them outside first to make a nice picture :P
Anyhow. This whole thing is passé for me.
I have the standard "Wasteland-is-harsh-there-are-no-real-friends" policy with my bases now. End of story, close thread.

It's just misjudgment of people on your side. There are players who would never steal anything from you, but you have to either know them personally or play long enough with them to know their character. It takes time and you have to share some blood, sweat and tears to see who they really are. Anyone can appear friendly in situations which don't demand much.

This really is no big deal for me, or did it look like it to you?
My remark about "there are no real friends" was meant sarcastically.
The bases I opened never contained anything valuable, this particular base was one of many reserved for players i don't know well enough, but want to be able to regroup/trade with fast, nothing more nothing less. I just forgot about the safes in there before opening.
Anyway, Mod,close this thread, please. The person who did it will never be found out, so screw it. I have found enough other players besides those on the list to cooperate with :)
