Title: [client modding] Removing splash screens
Post by: Zinthos on November 27, 2015, 05:14:55 pm
hi
i want to use only 1 specific picture as splash screen. i tried messing around with splash.lst but it keeps showing the old ones too. is there a way to do this?

splash.lst is leftover from ancient times, which have no impact on what's used; simply remove files from .zips and data/art/splash/ and... that's it :)

This one is in DAT2 format, so remember to use program who can handle .dat files from Fallout2.

Try to use Dat Explorer  ;)

btw is there any difference for client optimization between .zip and .dat ?
