Title: Bluesuit survival trip

The idea is to form a crew of bluesuits with no stuff at all (or just some crappy shovel, sharpened pole...). The goal is to gain most optimal stuff only fighting encounters. Meaning we begin raping basic leather-jacket mauser dude (or something else ?), then choose another target with better stuff, etc. Everyone can join (even if small gun guys fit a little better for this).

I didn't talked about background. You could play a newbie in need for some quick fight, or a robbed guy who was found unconscious in the desert seeking revenge... Act as you wish, RPing or not. We just need to stay united all along the trip.

RULES

- Real time only
- As a survival trip, people dying during the event are... dead, they can't come back
- If we encounter players, don't shoot except if it's an identifed threat
- Event ends when : everyone get the best stuff they can have / everyone's dead

Next trip : Sunday (11/11) at 9PM (forum time)

My main charachter can only lead 2 people, if no one got some charismatic guy, I'm ok to level one quick.

Feel free to make some suggestions/changes !

I would like to participate, if we start completely bluesuits and if anyone who dies can't return to the group.
And if it's real time, my character isn't suitable for TB. I have unarmed HH doctor.

Nice ! I edited rules. There could also be some kind of reward in caps, but I don't really know how can it works.

In theory, we are 7 now. Is there any of you who can lead that ?

About the date : for me, that would be in this week/maybe monday. There could be another trip later if the first one works fine and people had fun.
About the time : It's GMT +1 for me. During the day it's ok, don't know if I cand make it in the evening (depends which day).

I think Turn Based would be better for us, as in..well blue suits.
And I like turn based more anyway.

We won't stay in bluesuit eternally. Killing raiders in real time (and vs another encounter) is not very hard. And you have nothing to loose !

i just suggest you not to do it in TB if you are more than 3 players and you wana fight in several encounters. It would take too long.

If it worked well, I'll do it again next weekend with better organisation (I hope so !).

Sooo yeah...I'd come, but I have a smaller problem.
My character is stucked at the quarry next to junktown/near to Hinkley. And well, I can't really move :V

Edit; oh god somebody help me, name of my character is 'Miller'

Last group before we stop event, some random people came with us for... dunno exactly why. For the record, we failed again at first encounter, way too many ennemies !

Remember : I really want it to be in a single trip : lost people are considered dead (no turning back to NCR for exemple). Of course, we can make another run, once community is entirely disbanded.

I agree, but to do so I think we need more preparation. Not only about stuff or not, but some coordination pre-fights. Like, deciding when do we flee and where do we exit on hard encounters, some repartition of skills (at least a Doctor, a sniper...), not too low level participants... Well, all that kind of shit ;D

I really think it could be a very cool trip if we are organized, and we'll have a lot of fun ! Can't stand to try again x) !

I belive mausers and knives/spears should be allowed for beginning.
Nearly every bluesuit (Or even in character, they would be armed) does have something to protect himself.

Its just nonsense that you would meet someone with /nothing/.
Also when my character has 30% to hit with melee : ( )

what if whole trip would start in location like Gecko mine where you can earn some starting ore/minerals/junk and then you traveled to journey camp (someone's house with WB) so you really started with nothing but you got possibility to start fighting alredy with basic gear.

Well, when I had the idea of the event, I thought that it was fun to fight with your fists when you got shitty unarmed skills. If you have low HP/no toughness perk, I guess it's okay to bring a mauser when you have only SG skills.

Organisation. We must communicate our builds. Weak ones with their mauser stay in the back and wait for kamikazes to attack what is possible to fight...

Are considered good encounters : Low amount of encounter we target / target VS another encounter
We flee when it's not good. Leader has to be quick.

Is that better ?
