Title: So... What's next?

Hello all,

I don't want to make this a long message, there isn't that much to say right now anyway. Most of you are now probably curious about what happens next, so I am going to shine some light onto that.

The FOnline: 2238 forum will still be online for a few days, while we are preparing the database and the new forum. After this is done, we are going to redirect fonline2238.net to the new website. I'll guess it will take one or two days, maybe less, as it should go rather smooth. The 2238 forum will be archived, so the important stuff won't be deleted.

Greetings and thanks and all that stuff from... (in whatever order I had in my mind right now):

Atom, Ghosthack, Lexx, Lisac2k, Scypior, Wipe, Jovanka, Johnny, Mayck, Rusty, Solar, Slim Charles and the very early Rotators many probably don't remember: Prefontaine, and... Ehw... I probably should have made a list before (woops). Anyway... Thanks to everyone.

That's it right now. You'll hear more from us in the coming days.

Will the new forum mean we lose our login/messages etc from this forum, or will they still be accessible as archived stuff? I've got a bunch of 3D related stuff in my messages I'd probably want to keep for future plans.

Everything will be kept, the forum database will be transfered as is.

I always imagined you devs and gms to pull something out like a new kind of fonline in a new different way, you know? i guess it won't happen x_x

I think the MMO concept(like 2238 devs tired to make) is not compatible with Fallout 1\2 concept

What about IRC? The old 2238 channels will stay as they are. They will die when/if people will stop coming there.

I'm very curious about the new forum, and I can't wait to see how it will turn out.

It will be known... soon. But don't expect any Fallout MMO or in fact anything interesting for players anytime soon.
