there are only 2 escapes, stop using cheats and play like I do, or wait till the wipe and hope you won't get banned again.

No guys really, if you want to make a stand against banning for shortcuts or FOCD, this is not the way. I think its pathetic to ban players because they use shortcuts or anything that FOCD has to offer (other than dual log). It has nothing to do with cheating, only some fan was faster than developers on this (since I really believe that shortcuts are planned feature just low prio right now) so they won't support his gadgets. Well its their game ergo their rules but honestly banning for shortcuts?
Nevertheless this thread has 0 chances for survival thanks to first 5 posts.

I wonder where did you get those statistics... 80%? I guess - from your guild/friends, where you all use the same cheating techniques ;p No one would ever ban 80% of players, 'coz if that kind of majority should be baned, then it is something wrong with the game/devs, not with people.

Explanation: you were using chet on other alts, so gm gave ban to YOU, not your ALTs. IP isn't only way they chcec you personality. I know, 'coz I was trying to relog on dynamic IP in less than 10min, but it never works.

I was making quadruple without a problem while I had my characters.
Why? What kind of sick satisfaction do you get by going at it with four completely different characters man? I mean really, despite it being a pixel blaster game, I don't really see the point in cheating, really, 4 alts at once? that's pretty pathetic...

How about using the H.U.M.A.N. reflex system instead of resorting to pathetic means by the way of shortcuts, it will improve your reaction time (albeit slowly, and has some genetic inhibitors...), the more you use the H.U.M.A.N. reflex system the smoother the output gets...

Even if this action against cheaters is kinda controversial, I think this was a right thing to do, since I was hoping that using aimbot will be punished in some way. I just find the fixed duration of ban sort of unfair. Used the FO CD just once to see a new feature (even not in any kind of fight or anything)? You are still banned till the wipe, no excuses.
Also, since nobody on IRC answered: I believe the first versions of FO CD had just the timeouts plugin included, that can hardly be considered as a cheat. Are the guys using that version banned too? Is there a way how to tell the difference between those versions of FO CD?

Well, for some reason I think devs were looking for usage of FO CD in a history too, maybe even a few months ago. And the timeout feature ingame isn't in game for *that* long, is it. That's why I asked.

We are talking about shortcuts here. Is it only me or the whole "righteous" part of 2238 community has gone mad? I have never used anything else than custom interface in combat (mostly because I almost don't play since the 3rd season) but it seems possible only somwhere like here to ban people because they use shortcuts.

I were not playing for a while, cuz of the stupid changes, and rules that have been made on the server. But i were following the happenings. What you are making whit this game is outrage, you are rapeing and desecrating the original Fallout game. You calling your self fans?? Took the best game, make it something better then shit in players(testers) mouth. This game is only exist becouse we play it! Your game is full of bugs and pointless features, you should work on the developnig and not on "how to fuck the gammer base?". If you shit sequential in players(testers) mouth they will dissenter you! And GMs, the only use of them that they can teleport them self, turn in to a fucking mosquito, and bann people(in a beta? IN BETA?!?), and when someone have a real problem what should be solved he got the anwser: "hmmm... interseting..." then teleport away, and never come back.
What is their use currently? Shouldn't they be changed down?
Every power builded character will be made again in 2 days(the experienced players know how to). But there are a lot of loners only whit their tent, they got shited in mouth too. This was just another retarded move from you guys, cuz you have punished those who didnt deserved it. Congratulations your making a very good job, keep it up! KEEP IT UP!!! You should think about the consequences of your actions. SDK will be released, new and better servers will be made, and 2238 will vanish if you dont change your attitude.

Every week I meet new players, but instead of pwnz0ring them I'm talking with them, so I can ask are they new or just alts. Oh silly me.

You meet them in what count? 10 per week? Decrease this number of players who will dissapoint about this game and leave in first days of playing - 6? 7?
Such a great number, contrary to atm. leaving players in count minimum 60.

Now I know how many cheaters are on this server. They are still trying to somehow justify their actions, for example FOCD "only helped them to watch over the HP characters, lol herself innocence. Tell me, and FOCD not help you aim automatically in the eye?
Developers have revived the game and allowed us to play it for free, but cheaters have reduced their efforts to naught, and do not dare to blame them that they do not improve the game, they do so on a voluntary basis.
So, die сheaters.

Remember something like this happening in Wurm online, all cheaters there got banned aswell, but the names went public to.
You could see names on that list from which you would never expect such things. Would be interresting to see that list of banned people here in Fonline aswell.
There is no worse shame that being on such a list.

OMG!!! what cheats?? this was not a cheat, its a PLUGIN!! using bugs are cheating. those players who used it didnt used blackmagic and summoned 10000000 caps from the mighty satan. didint used IDDQD XD, not hacked the server and give them self infinite ammo and End Boss Plasmagun, and not asked for immortality from the darkwizards.
you bann players for something you are going to implent in your game!!
